Descriptions match our excursion. Mangrove speedboat was fun. Carriage ride was ok. Too much time for shops. Good Pina Coladas at restaurant. Sugar factory museum really cool, as was steam train ride. Lunch was ok. Didn't really want to go to croc farm, but story I got was that it was a breeding facility to help with repopulation, I believe.... More

The alligator farm was ok, not really that much to see. Did see them feed them and there were opportunities to hold a baby alligator for a fee/tip? Not sure of the purpose of the farm as they said these creatures do no how to hunt and can't be released. Moron is a small village with antiquated buildings, many run... More

Staff were friendly, snorkelling was fun but the best was by far was visiting Pilar Beach! The food they cooked on the boat (lobster tail, shrimp, rice and seafood sauce) was incredible!

... a very enjoyable day. Our guide, Niki, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and current state of the country. We learned a lot from her.

The highlight of this trip was the speedboat ride and quiet sailing in the mangrove forest: surreal! The Moron visit itself was average: we spend a lot of time roaming from one souvenir stand to another , I would prefer to hear more about the town, history, architecture and culture. Also we were cursed at by a female beggar who... More

This day trip was very educational and fun. We learned so much about Cuba and the people. The tour of the sugar and rum mill was very informative, and the ride on the train through the sugar cane fields was great. My husband ate quite a bit of sugar can. Not a big fan of crocodiles but the tour at... More

We were in Cuba for just one week so didn't feel we had time to visit Trinidad and Havana was out as there was no available accommodation at all. The next best thing was a day trip to Moron and we opted to do this as we wanted to see real Cuba outside of the large resorts. From the minute... More

City of Moron. Was very interesting, between the horse and buggy the crocodiles sugar factory train ride was great to see the lives of the Cuban residents and the history. We had an amazing time thank to the wonderful Tour Guide.
