This is a great natural feature, but if the sea is rough and you are not careful, it can be dangerous. Apparently, 2 people were ripped out to sea in a rip tide on a rough day. Take care and it is fun.

All the pictures posted here are tame compared to what we experienced in December...so here's the deal. This place can be dangerous if there is a north/northeast swell. Even so...it is completely beautiful! It is a hike to the site and requires sturdy shoes. The hike is about close to a mile from Foxy's taboo. It is not accessible by... More

Bubbly Pool is a little trek off of the beach and is well worth the hike if you hit it at high tide. We've been there high tide and not, and would definitely not go again unless it was high tide - it's a blast and lots of fun to play in then!

Great nearby beach and fun place. We spent about 2 hours there and nobody got bored of plunging into Bubbly Pool!

It is definitely a cool place and I am so glad I went and would definitely recommend seeing it but the whole "bubbly" thing, I didn't really get that and it was a rough water day which is supposed to add the the effervescent effect. It was a great little hike, nothing treacherous, I did it in flip flops. The... More

Make sure you visit when the tide is coming in so you get the most out of the "bubbly". Just something else to experience when in the BVI. Climb to the top to take in the view. Beautiful.

Secluded romantic and beautiful.... Watch the weather before you plan you trip as the bubbles depend on natural wave patterns to form. On the right day it's like swimming in a glass of salty champagne with the pounding of waves nearby.... During the summer when the weather is calm it can be flat and uneventful!

Going in off season we didn't have the benefit of a local letting us know if the seas were the best for the bubbly pool. We did the hike in and it was a pretty cool spot. But, it must have been low tide as it wasn't what I have seen in other pictures. Still worth the excursion. A good... More

The walk was not difficult. The large swamp of gross water on the way was not that attractive. The pool was a pool and slightly bubbly when a wave crashed, but there was no wow factor. The pool was filled with fish and was a refreshing dip after the hot hike.

We started our hike to the bubbly pool mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. We saw almost no one on the trail there. A few other people were at the pool when we arrived but I wouldn't call it crowded at all. Once they left, we had the place to ourselves. It's an easy hike of about a mile and well worth... More
