The Bubbly Pool is a natural pool between big rocks. The waves break there and it looks like a natural "spa". There is also a very tiny beach when you can relax and spend some time there, but this is a very tiny spot, with a lot of people coming and going back, so usually you can stay there only... More

On the recommendation of our boat captain, visited the Bubbly Pool on a day with a very active sea. It was cool. Nice walk along the trail to the Pool. Nice to cool off and relax in the rushing waters before walking back along the trail to Foxy's Taboo for lunch. Definitely worth the stop.

We took a taxi to Foxy Taboo and took a walk down about a ½ mile dirt path thru the woods to the bubbly pool. High tide is the best time to see this. Very cool to sit in the water or on the beach and just watch the waves crash between the rocks. Makes a great background for pictures.... More

Arrived with our boat, reached the shore and walked along the beach and a small hill (about 10 minutes walk) to get to this unusual spot. Small area receives waves with lots of energy, making it an enjoyable experience. Suggest to avoid peak hours since the spot is pretty small.

It was hike to get to this hidden spot on the island -- walking through water, route through poisonous trees and major rocks. It was a cool spot to get refreshed in the water though!

Not really worth the hike if you're going to the baths. Overrated. Best thing about this place is Foxys Taboo before and after.

It is a small hike from Foxy's Taboo. Be careful not to touch poisonous trees, Manchineel. It can cause hives and make you really sick, even the sap is poisonous. They are located in one area of the hike and the trail is wide enough to not touch them. Once you get there the waves, mainly from northern swells push... More

I reviewed this place after returning in the summer, but we revisited in January of 2015. What a difference January made rather than July! Waters were kicked up and someone in our party, who was right at the entrance to the water, claimed he felt like he went through the washer! What a great time. The water is definitely more... More

As others have said, a small pool just off the ocean, the waves crash through a gap in the rocks. Fun to watch people tumbled about if a wave catches them unaware. Hang onto your sunglasses. An excellent chance to stretch your legs if you've been sitting on a boat for a while as it is a nice hike up... More

Ok, I made a mistake and didn't change my shoes for the hike. I forgot about climbing over and down the rocks. It is probably a 1/2 mile hike but worth it. The seas were not running very high but it is a unique place to visit.
