I do not how you tell that the Pool is bubbling, but you might want to make sure before you take the hike. It is a long, hot hike that requires sturdy shoes and water bottles. You have to be careful of the Manchioneel trees at one point. They are very well marked. It is not a super easy hike,... More

The little pool was great. Little fish are swimming around you as the waves was in and envelope you in bubbles. We were told it was about a ten minute hike but it was twice that and the trail was a little rough. Please be sure to wear some really durable sandals.

Its a little hike but well worth it! It was our lucky day, we took a picnic lunch and had the place to ourselves for a few hours!

The Bubbly pool is a natural pool that benefits from the northerly ocean swells. It is these swells coming in from the north and crashing over the rocky entrance to the pool that gives the name bubbly. As the water cascades over the rocks and into the pool, the water becomes effervescent, creating a refreshing soaking in the shallow water.... More

The hike to the Bubbly Pool was easy and had some interesting features along the way. You can stop and take a view of the ocean from the rocks. There are some small wildlife along the path (birds and lizards). The warnings of poisonous trees are very local. The pool itself is refreshing as it was a bit cooler than... More

Once you get there, this is a pretty cool place. The hike is unattractive- it goes past a lot of junk, mean dogs and a smelly swamp (at low tide). Wear shoes and take plenty of water and sunscreen. Don't go at low tide. If you do, there is no bubbly pool. The sea only comes through the rocks at... More

This is a great place to visit but at the same time very dangerous. the best thing is stay on the poolside where the water rushes in and not go into the surf on the rocks side. there is a warning sign at the entrance to pay attention. the place is a little difficult to find and some clues on... Just a little hike past Foxy's Taboo. A pool that is created when there is high tide over the rocks. Little fish, urchins etc not to mention crashing waves were great

Enjoyed the pulsating waves after a short, but warm hike. Good socializing too with fellow travelers.

The bubbly pools take some time and hiking to get to, but are well worth the trouble. I don't recommend it if you have any physical disabilities. Amazing and unique natural attraction to see!
