Was not impressed at Foxy's.The buffet was average & the drinks expensive. Not much choice for our $30.00 each to eat. As we were eating, dust particles were raining down on our food. Seems a rodent had decided to gnaw on the wood beam over our heads! Could see the little critter & when we complained,we were told "It's the beach. A... More

I've read a lot of the reviews here and have to agree with most. This is a really neat bar to sit down at, right on the beach, have some decent food and get a good buzz going. After all, isn't that what we're here for? I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get here, but we did... More

Our cruise ship captain arranged for a late night stop here and since we had heard all the hype we went along. Good dj but too frenetic a place for me. Larger than I expected and high prices for average drinks...I guess now I can say Iv'e been to Foxy's I won't have to go back...I prefer Soggy Dollar anyways.

I know everyone always says if you go to Jost Van Dyke you need to go to Foxy's, but I would not agree. We had been here on our previous trip and did the dinner buffet and was very unimpressed with the quality of the food. Seeing as we were not impressed with the buffet last time we decided to... Yipeeeeeeeeeee. Not only did I make it back I got to have a sit down with Foxy and he is still as hilarious as I remembered. Great place to meet other sailors, drinkers, music lovers that aren't afraid to share their stories.

Like other reviewers, I was expecting more out of this well-renowned bar. It was just an open shack with a dirt floor. Our boat captain actually brought us our menus. Food was decent. Drinks were okay. Nothing special though.

Great place to stop. We had a wonderful waitress. Atmosphere is great and well worth the stop. Had the calamari, but was not impressed. The other couple with us had a regular dinner and they thought the food was good. Cute place, worth stopping.

There was allot of hype about this place so I guess I expected more. A large, shack type of bar. Service was ok, nothing special. We were there in the afternoon, maybe the night life adds more excitement??? We went to say we were there, so mission accomplished!

If you only go to one beach bar in BVI, this would give you a good idea of the genre. It's pretty much right on the beach, has the typical beach-shabby decor with tons of pennants, shirts, and assorted junk tacked to the rafters, and even the usual local hangers-on, hanging on to a bar stool and looking tan and... It was crazy, it was crowded and a lot of people were having a good time. If you are in the Caribbean for New Year's it is the place to be.
