We visited here in Feb off a cruise ship. We took a catamaran ride to white bay from tortola. The beach is just stunning! The water is SO clear and blue. There is a ton of natural shade on the beach. My husband and I had a very relaxing day here sunning on the beach and swimming in the beautiful... More

The most beautiful beach I have ever been to. The Sandcastle Beach Cottages at the Soggy Dollar are very nice with great food from the restaurant.

The White Bay Beach is the most beautiful beach on Jost Van Dyke. It is very long, very wide, with a very fine and white sande, with a very clear turquoise blue water, and you can swim everywhere there... It could be the paradise on Earth... but too many people go there and it is very very crowded all the... More

Had a down day while on Tortola, and ferried over to Jost Van Dyke. Took a cab to white bay and spent the day at the Soggy Dollar. This place was cool. Best hook for a business, "sunny place for shady people". Home of the pain killer. Cool twist on a Pina Colada. Boats come in and out. Good beach... More

Kick off your shoes and enjoy this soft sand of White Bay. In a land of pebble and rock beaches, jagged edges cutting into your feet and destroying pedicures, this is an oasis for the bare-footed. White Bay is busy with tour boats, catamarans, and tourists during peak hours, but the beach goes on forever and it is still easy... More

We arrived into Tortola/Road Town port via Norwegian Pearl. We then took the excursion they offered called "Escape to Jost Van Dyke" - it was a 45 min ride on a nice power catamaran (Rebel Yell). White Bay is a nice little protected bay area in which the primary beach is maybe 150 yards long and has several beach bars,... More

I went to many beaches on this Caribbean trip, and this one by far was the best in terms of white powder sand, calm water, beautiful people, and an amazing little beach bar (Soggy Dollar). An excursion here from one of the larger islands is a must if you want to get away from the tourist crowds (Magen's Bay, USVI... More

This is a beautiful bay with white, powdery sand beaches. It has several bars to purchase drinks. It is very busy with tourists in the afternoon, but they are only there a few hours of the day.

White Bay is a positively stunning beach --- one worthy of postcards. Great place to hang out with tons of people (Soggy Dollar Bar side) or fewer folks (Ivan's Stressfree Campground side) depending on your mood. Unfortunately, the snorkeling isn't good, due to the sheer number of boats that go in and out of the bay. But it's a great... More

We were anchored in Great Harbor at Jost Van Dyke and took our dingy around to White Bay. The water was absolutely stunning! Had an okay lunch at Soggy Dollar (great Pain Killers) BAD hamburgers (how do you mess up a hamburger?) Be sure to text your friends and family when you're about to get there and they can see...
