Even if you have no interest in a Painkiller from The Soggy Dollar Bar, you must stop by White Bay. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can get away from the folks drinking and enjoying the Soggy Dollar, and find a piece of beach to just relax and and watch the... More

Power white sand. Fluorescent blue water. A string of rustic beach bars complete with staff whose smiles could heal the world. Happy-go-lucky boat visitors sipping on rum-brella drinks and beers in koozies, toes in the sand. All set to a soundtrack of island tunes... What's not to love? We were one of the many day visitors to White Bay on... More

The beach is beautiful white sand, perfect for swimming ashore. Hooking up on a mooring ball is the safest bet for the average mid to larger size charter boats. Also with only two channels cutting through to the inner reef, deep draft boats coming into the mooring field during low tide take special care.

Soft white sand, beautiful clear water. Beach bars at one end and peaceful quiet at the other. The weather was perfect with just enough wind to keep it pleasant.

Came ashore at Great Harbour and took a taxi to White Bay (easy to catch at end of pier area; $5 each one way; easy return). Walking involves hiking up a steep hill. Beach area itself is very nice. Traffic jams develop about mid-way at the Soggy Dollar with folks lined up for Painkillers and then to plop down on... More

Go early if you want to anchor your boat as it gets very crowded with pleasure boats as well as tour boats coming from other islands like Tortola and St. John's for the day. The beach is gorgeous white sand. Take a walk, play a beach game like Frisbee, swim to shore and take your soggy dollars to the Soggy... More

This may be the best beach in the entire Caribbean. It is perfect. White sand, the Soggy Dollar Bar, calm water, etc. Stopped here for some Pain Killers after a long day in the islands!

The beach is pristine and clean. The White Bay wall is a great place to scuba and snorkel. The beach gets a little crowded around the Soggy Dollar Bar after noon until about five or six, but there are still a few pockets of tranquility along the beach.

Sailed the BVI with Marauder and we anchored for the night. Crystal clear waters and white sand. Also you have Soggy Dollar Bar that is also a must to go. Beach is beautiful and is always sunny!
