You don't even need a mask and fins to experience sea life. Just look down, and watch out for "Dory" the nursery maid fish who comically escorts you away from the reef nursery. White Bay is divided into 2 parts - day cruise ships, and knowings. Choose the latter.

We spent an afternoon on the Beaches of White Bay during a day trip from St John on the Kekoa. Great place for bar hopping and lounging on a great beach.

There is a reason White Bay is consistently on the Best of Lists for beaches in the Caribbean. White sand, blue water, beach bars and hammocks....you could not ask for more. Get a Painkiller from The Soggy Dollar Bar, but be sure to try some of the other places as well. Gertrude's has delicious Roti, and you make your own... More

Gorgeous white sand, gentle breezes, clear water. What's not to like? Simply splendid, and not too crowded!

White Bay is a wonderful beach. The water colors are like a kaleidescope and change before your eyes. There are several bars and lunch placs on the stretch of clran and gorgeous white sand. The only prpoblem with White Bay is that it's so beautiful, people are ferried in by catamarans to drink and party and it becomes crowded. Once... More

After a short sail from Cane Garden Bay we moored in Great Harbor on Jost. White bay is a short taxi ride away (the road is quite steep so worth the taxi ride). White Bay is lovely. When we visited there were a few powerboats anchored close to the shore but the beach was by no means crowded. We enjoyed... More

One of the prettiest beaches but now the boats moor so close to shore and there are so many people that it feels like Lake Havasu. Not the beach bar anymore, turning into Myrtle Beach. Have to go there once but the crowds are just too much. Oh, and be careful with kids on Jost. its an adult playground.

You cannot go wrong spending a day at White Bay, we took a boat service over but you can easily take the Ferry from St. John to the Government Dock on Jost Van Dyke and then after a good breakfast at Corsairs hope in a taxi for the short ride to White Bay. I would recommend a pickup time with... More

It a place everyone should see! Just beautiful, but full of people for a touristy bar experience on a gorgeous beach.

Worth the day trip, to sit and do nothing. Great people watching, lots of boats, you can walk the beach or just enjoy the water. Grab a pain killer at the Soggy Dollar and enjoy! Best day of our vacation.
