When approaching White Bay, do not be fooled by the structures to the right, unless you are not interested in the Soggy Dollar Bar or One Love Bar, those are located to the left. This is a must stop if you would like to try the original Painkiller drink from the Soggy Dollar Bar, which by the way is fantastic!!... More

Depending on what you are looking for in a spot, this could be good or bad. The good is that this beach has the famous bar Soggy Dollar (spelling), home of the Pain Killer drink. It is a busy scene with one bathroom. Because the boats are allowed to motor right on up to the shore you are not going... More

We hung out in front of the Soggy Dollar for hours. Calm blue waters and beautiful scenery. Plenty of lounge chairs were available for the eight of us to grab and bring to the water's edge. When we had a little too much sun, we retreated to the shade of palm trees to lie in hammocks. A few cocktails, some... More

My favorite Beach, it's just beautiful. Water is so clear. Love all the boats that anchor in to stop at soggy dollar for the day. Great to meet new people from all over.

What can you say about the best beach in Tortola? It was a great dingy ride from Great Harbor and worth the trip. Snorkeling and playing in the water does get much better than this.

Title pretty much says it all. White Bay is a great place for mooring and snorkeling when you are bareboating in the BVI's.

A trip to the Virgin Islands, whether US or British, would not be complete without a trip to White Bay on JVD. If you were to dream of a beach on a tropical island, it would look like this one. People love the fact there is no dock and you have to jump from your boat and swim to the beach.

We have visited the BVI several times on boating vacations and White Bay is always breathtaking in its beauty. It has personality. The sand doesn't get whiter and the ocean could not be more turquoise. A definite must do! we will go back!
