This beach had everything and was one of the places I wanted to revisit during our fortnight sailing in the BVI. Unfortunately when we wanted to come back we saw an enormous boat anchored nearby so decided to give it a miss.

We took a ship-sponsored excursion from Tortola to Jost Van Dyke and White Bay. We arrived by catamaran and our dollars did not get soggy as only our feet got wet while wading to shore. We did enjoy a pain killer and some excellent fries at the Soggy Dollar bar!

I really enjoyed my time at White Bay Jost Van Dyke Beach. It is very beauitful, and the sand is soft and white. The bars are good and it is a beautiful place. Next time I will stay on Jost Van Dyke for a couple nights.

We arrived by ferry from Tortola and considered walking to White Bay. That would have been a mistake! You will realize why as you are sitting in the taxi on your way there. A very long and very hilly walk!! Take the taxi from the ferry pier - it's only $5 per person. We used Abe's taxi and he gave... More

A second visit to White Bay and it hasn't changed - still beautiful white sand and great places for a drink. Came here by boat using Nate's Charters, the best in the US and BVIs for a trip like this; the view from the shore and the beach is about the same - awesome!

This is a wide horseshoe shape beach with pure white sand and crystal clear water. Quaint food stacks and a couple of bar shacks right on the beach. Just order a drink or food and use one of the beach lounges and enjoy.

I had the pleasure of staying on White Bay for a week last month. It truly was beautiful beyond description. The beach was white sand, the water was turquoise blue, the beach bars were as expected and the swimming/snorkeling was great. There were plenty of spots to moor your boat, grab a painkiller or just lounge in the sand. The... More
