This was an excellent tour. I would call it the jewel in the crown of the Gros Morne Park. If you are visiting Gros Morne, you should almost certainly do this. The boat trip was very nice, the scenery was very pretty, and the people on the boat are fun and entertaining. But there are certainly things to be aware of. You have to hike to the boat, about a 45 minute hike. Make sure to bring bug spray... more
Did the boat tour in August of 2007 and it was one of the highlights of our trip from Toronto to Gros Morne and back. About a 30 minute hike to the boats though easy terrain. I would recommend bringing full rain gear or at least a good rain coat. more
We did this tour in July.08. it was so overcrowded! I assumed when we paid our money we would be getting a seat. Not so. Prepare to stand! This tour is also not cheap .... The boat waited in dock for more to arrive as we all were crowded already and then a family with tiny children who were tired... more
