It is so nice to write something good about a restauarant or attraction and having visited this "Pick Your Own Farm" on a Tuesday early in the growing season I was pleasantly surprised and impressed in the most professional way this operation is run and the lovely strawberries to take home. I am a pro jam maker and was out... More

My friend (age 4) and I visited today, the very first strawberry day of 2014. We were greeted by Helena, you was very friendly and asked my picking assistant if she had been before and then patiently explained where we had to go. She asked which size of baskets we needed and told us the approximate price for filled containers.... More

It was miserable weather (surprised?) but we went any way& were glad we did. The fields are extensive with good choices of berry fruit and vegetables. The fields are clearly marked for you to find what you want to pick. There is a calendar available showing what is available during which months. They are open six days a week. Monday... More

We visited this farm in the month of July 2013 and the children had a lovely time. Strawberries were great. Fresh strawberries were Juicy and sweet. Though advised only to taste, visitors did enjoy them. There is a minimum fee per person to be adjusted against the farm produce. Table top strawberries are easy to pick and collect. Farm provides... This year I went to pick strawberries, vegetables and it was fun picking them. The strawberries were very sweet. Also raspberry was awesome. The Sweetcorn was very sweet. The staff were very helpful. I would love to go back next year.

As the farm says, it lets you pick your own fruit and veg. You can buy what you need that too at a reasonable price

After picking strawberries the children wanted to taste some so we went to the shop front and washed them as we were eating the strawberry one staff told us we weren't allowed to eat until we paid, we said ok and apologised., my son (six) had his half in his hand and ate it after that staff went, a few... We took our two girls ( 5 & 7 ) up here to pick their own fruit. They loved it. Appears to be well run with an abundance of fruit and veg on offer. You don't really have to root around for anything. I would like to see the fruit a little cheaper though. We ended up paying £25 for... More

I pay a few visits every year to the farm. I pick up fruit to make jam especially as the fruit is fresh and has more pectin than the fruit bought in the shops. However, it is not to make savings as the strawberries are the same price as in Marks in Spencer (which is not a place for bargains!).... More

It costs £3 minimum per adult/child and obviously you pay more if you pick a greater quantity. The site is very clean and well laid out. We went to pick strawberries and they are grown on waist high platforms so you don't have to bend over. This also helps keep the fruit out of any mud during bad weather. The... More
