I had several as to spend unaccompanied in Blackburn, but I ahd a pass that allowed me access to the Waves Gym and pool. The gym is an add on to the original waves pool and the equipment was not up to date. That said there were sufficient facilities to cater for the few in attendance. There did not seem... More

This is an average pool but like most of the things in blackburn needs updating. The staff don't look like they are capable of saving a drowning child

I visited this pool today with grandchildren aged 2, 8 and 10. This cost £14.45 and £2.40 to park the car. I expected the pool to be busy with it being half-term but the numbers were manageable. When we were leaving I noticed that it was 12.25. I still had the entrance ticket in my bag and we paid at... More

We always enjoy going to this swimming pool as it is different to any of those we have in Preston. The waves are really good fun and seeing these can encourage children to want to learn to swim as then they can then go in the deeper end alone or with their parents where the waves are much larger. The... More

11 of us went here for the morning. The changing rooms are grubby and the ladies toilets smelt of bad drains. However the pool was fun. There is a nice little play area for younger children and a bigger slide and waves for the older ones. There are plenty of lifeguards about which is good. Also they provide lots of... More

It is a glorified pool which makes a change from a normal pool . The Wave Pool is good , a good flume ride ,hydro pool and small slide for small kiddies . For the price it is not bad , the changing area is a bit grubby .

Pool not too bad but changing rooms etc very poorly cleaned, concerning that adults allowed in changing areas with a full veil being worn. I raised this concern of fully covered adults causing others to be uncomfortable but management would not acknowledge my concern.

Visited today with my 3 year old son, was really impressed when I walked in, gum facilities looked really modern and staff were lovely and very helpful. But then I went to the changing rooms....... vile, stinky and really exposed, not to mention being mixed gender, which call me old fashioned but I wasn't happy with. Unfortunately when we got...
