We went here today 07/04/15 and I have to say I won't be going again any time soon. We checked the time of the afternoon session on the website which stated 2pm til 4pm, we arrived at 1:50 paid to get in £6-70 each paid for skate hire £2-10 each and went to get our skates which turned out to... Been there today with 3 kids for the first time. 2 of my youngest children changed their mind and wouldn't go on the ice so asked for refund and was told they don't do refunds, fair enough but the attitude from the 'duty manager' behind reception was appalling and aggressive. Send him on a customer care course before he aggravates... More

We went today as the last Friday of half term. There was Mummy and two boys 6 and 9. The skates are shocking - in a terrible state.. It took me ten minutes to sort mine out, the 9 year old had to take one back that wouldn't fasten, and the 6 year old had lace up ones that were... More

My 2 teens take lessons here and love the arena and the lessons. The tutors are great and make good progress with students of all abilities. I bought all my nieces and nephews a session here as a christmas present. Good fun. Wrap up warm if you are spectating as it is, er, very cold there.

Had a great night skating tonight. Was nice and quiet so had loads of room to skate and enjoyed a nice warm drink. Would definitely go in the evening during the week again. Was great to see some lovely Christmas decorations up as well when we walked through the door. A great place to visit.

Visited here a lot, first time with highschool, last time for fun. So much better than Blackpool as there is more space and room ro do your own thing. Best to go at off-peak times as can get a bit too crowded.

Great little ice rink in an easy access place with free parking. Family fun with a cafe, snack bar and vending machine as well as a bar, supporter club stands and Chuck the Puck in between periods. Staff pleasant and polite and prices not too expensive. Obviously as its an ice rink, it's cold. Wrap up warm with layers. Toilets... More

Went to the ice rink last friday evening for my child's birthday. We went on the fun skate session at tea time. Have to say it was great and the kids loved it. The staff where lovely, very polite and helpful, from the receptionist, the young man in the skate hire and from the manager. I can't comment on the... More

Me and my wife took our two kids to the Friday evening session this week just gone, and I was more than pleasantly surprised, as we had a great night! We had a wonderful evening, and although it was quite busy the atmosphere inside was fantastic, and for a full 3 hours of ice skating the price was very reasonable.... More
