Beautiful Countryside, Fun for Kids

This place is a perfect place to go for a day out! The company that own this own 'Blackgang Chine' which makes this even better as you can pay to go to this place and get a bit off the price added up when going to both separately. But this place is a place where you go for a walk... More

Robin Hill is almost an anachronism. It's a huge country park, just outside Newport on the Isle of Wight and it is rather like going back in time when you go there. Superb walks, massively undulating countryside, trees, bird and falconry exhibitions and lots of 'hands on', play things for children - a tunnel maze, lots of parks/climbing trails etc.... More

Friendly staff, prices reasonable (free return visit with in 7 days) toboggan ride £1.50 extra per ride, cafe reasonably priced food, well stocked gift shop, very hilly but tractor/ train ride takes you round most of the park at no extra cost. Enjoyed the 4D cinema, enjoyed feeding the carp and ducks at Carp Quay

We had a really enjoyable day out here. My eight-year-old loved it. The falconry displays were great and there is enough to do to keep younger children entertained – many play areas and lovely gardens. Cafes were fine and not overpriced. We stayed for the summer evening entertainment, which was great fun – a samba band led us through the... More

Having to write this again as first attempt on this attraction failed so this will be a briefer account! Good for little ones and older children up to teens, I was really chuffed at seeing a real live red squirrel on the pathway soon after arrival, however poor little thing got frightened away by a lad and his dad playing... We went as a family aged from 2 years to 94 years and all had a brilliant day. Another attraction where the food in the cafe was reasonably priced, good value. Children loved all the activities - was quite a lot of walking so took the precaution of hiring a wheelchair for our 94 year old before we went. We... More

There is plenty to do here. We took a picnic and spent all day here. The falconry displays are great, the toboggan run is fun although there is an extra charge for it. The tractor ride is great if you don't want to walk to far with your picnic.

Overpriced, waste of money. OK for anyone under the age of 7. Some activities cost extra which is a rip off when you have already paid £17 to get into what essentially a large playground.

This is a great place to take smaller children but wouldn't advise it for older kids. We visited with our 11 yr old daughter who only was only interested in the Colossus ride (pirate ship). Everything else was aimed at much smaller children. We all enjoyed the 4D cinema and wanted to go on the tobogan run and snake slides... More

Good family day out, we loved the toboggan run and the boys loved climbing squirrel tower, the 4d cinema, and the swinging pirate ship, the mini village and the maze r fun for small ones and the falconry shows get a good turnout, not many rides and nothing really for bigger children. Ours are 5 and 8
