Great place to visit, arrived whilst the army had a publicity day and got to see a huey land. Nice little restaurant, a little expensive though, only had a drink.

A lovely Castle to visit. There's an interesting museum inside. But if you're here for taking a walk in the beautiful surroundings, you can also just enjoy the restaurant. I recommend visiting during Winter when it's freezing, so you can skate the canal. Don't forget to bring your ice skates! I come here quite often just to stroll around a... More

This is a small castle but very well preserved. I liked the medieval collection but not the stuffed animals. I also enjoyed a picnic near the river.

This castle is small enough not to take all day to visit, but does give you a good idea of the look and feel of a real castle, even though it had to be rebuild after the second world war. The beautiful surroundings offer a great opportunity to go visit the typical Dutch river side landscape (uiterwaarden) and walk in... More

Beuatiful Castle, you feel you are dwelling back in the Middle Ages there. A strange way to get there though.

This castle is really cool to see, and is someone like what I expected all European Castles to look like, complete with a moat. We didn't spend too much time inside the castle, as we were a little confused at how it was laid out for gaining entrance. But we did walk around and take pictures on our way to... More

Very nice castle that gives an history of the village and how the noble people lived there in the past. The entrance fee is a bit high for what you get in return if you compare it to other attractions in the vicinity

Very nice castle in excellent state. What i liked was the nice castle bar, which was self service, but the scenery is so authentic as well as the snacks (good frsh quality) you can get here, that this one is a must do when you're in the area.

We walked around the grounds of the castle, and it looked pretty cute, but we can't speak for the interior because we didn't get in. There was a coffee shop there which we didn't try, but the coffee shop staff was helpful in getting us an explanation for our dilemma.... We were late getting to this castle..... Our late arrival... We were late arriving at the castle as it is poorly signposted and we got lost. It was 4:30 and the castle museum closed at 5:00 but they did not offer a decent discount on the entrance fee. However, you can see a lot from the outside and the terrace restaurant is in a lovely setting for a drink and... More
