Nothing to say against the exhibitions as there are world class ones and always excllent. But please! Renew this building. Or at least the entrance! Is it normal that people have to queue out of the building as the cashier is located next to the door entrance? No! Is it normal that backpack or bag holders have to leave their... More

This is the arts centre with the most beautiful setting that I have ever visited. With the mountains behind it, a beautiful garden filled with sculptures and Roman ruins it is worth a visit whatever the current show. The car museum is a permanent feature reminding us that Switzerland once had a car industry. A beautiful Rolls Royce and a... More

Wonderful selection of Matisse paintings along with some of his contempories. Come early as the gallery can get crowded. Pleasant to walk around the sculpture garden. Loved the exhibition of black and white photographs by the founder Leonard Giannadda. Make it a day and see the St Bernard's at the Barry Foundation nearby.

Martigny, a little town in Switzerland... and a big famous museum. Build on an historic place and in where you'd always find a new taste of culture. Museum with a lot of connections with the most famous museums in the world : a great opportunity to find some no permanent exhibitions and special private collections. And to discover a lot... More

Whether you come to ski or hike in the Swiss Alps, don't miss the treasures at Foundation should you be in this area. Small, charming museum with a sculpture garden and a wonderful cafeteria in a unique setting!

I visited the foundation to see the Matisse exhibition and what a wonderful day I spent there. It cost 20 chfs to visit which initially I thought was expensive but turned out to be great value for money. The gallery itself is straightforward to find though the bus from the station stops in a street parallel to where the gallery... More

I am from Trinidad and visited the Fondation Pierre Gianadda Switzerland during my vacation to view the Renoir exhibition. Not only was this quite an adventure finding the place but actually visiting a Renoir and viewing works that I pored over as a child was a dream come true. That such a thing could be possible in my lifetime was... More

The Gianadda Foundation stage a couple of major exhibitions every year but also they have some permanent exhibits, a motor museum, scuptures in the garden and more. Your entrance ticket covers all areas. We didn't get to see everything but enjoyed all that we did see. If the weather is right then one can use the café in the garden,... More

The charge for entry here is 16fr. Until the 14th June they are showing exhibits from three main Swiss artists, Anker, Hadley, and Vollotton. Well worth a wander round and car parking is free. Downstairs is a small motor museum with amongst others some car makes from Swiss manufacturers little known now. If the weather is OK there are sculptures... More
