The burgers and sandwiches are simply amazing and totally not expensive they are closed before the evening so you won't be able to eat there at night but it is ideal for after your sport session or after a visit to the beach I fell in love with the first bite ❤️

Only 2 dishes to choose from, mostly meat or fish. And again you have to make reservations up front for food that is worse than the every day buffet food (this quality was even better and more choise)

This is a wonderful place, close to the lagoons of El Cotillo. Lovely shops and friendly people everywhere. Enjoy the cafes and art shops and the laid back surfer style of the whole place.

Away from the touristic town of corralejo, this is a more the real Fuerteventura. Many surfshops and obviously the place where the surfers stay. Just after the football ground, you can take the road to the north coast. Halfway there is a parking for the 3 km walk to the volcano. Very impressive. I also recommend to take the track... More

Not a tourist place, but has enough facilities to make your stay in a vacation home comfortable and stressfree.

If you have hired a car, and can fit Lajares in, enroute to somewhere else, then it is worth calling in for a cappuccino, the bakery on the high street does a great coffee,if you intend to put yourself out at all to get there,I suggest you think twice, you haven't missed anything by not going to Lajares.

Lajares has a great feel to it - relaxed, laid-back, chilled-out, friendly - some nice little coffee houses with proper coffee and delicious pastries as well as a couple of decent pizzerias / tapas bars. Great position, midway between the fantastic beaches of El Cotillo and the sand dune park of Corralejo.

There is a lovely craft market in the centre of the village (on Saturday I think) and a few nice cafes but not much more.

Small canarian village, virtually unspoilt with only a few shops and bars, easily accessed by bus from Correlejo
