Somehow a surf city, event though there's no water around... some nice shops and restaurants, it's mainly a pass-by location on the way to the beach

We stayed in a Villa here and we were pleased with the facilities not only in the villa but also the village. An adequate supermarket, a pharmacy, a few bars and restaurants and an organic health food shop.

good as a base for the north of the island away from the hustle and bustle of Corralejo. well worth a visit for nice food, little market on Saturdays, nice craft type shops too.

Most striking contrast of landscape; transition from rocky barren to desert sand but on the shore Definitely worth a visit

Used Lajares as a little base whist on holiday de to its proximity to the volcano walks and many cycle routes in the area. well stocked supermarket and artisan market once a week is worth a visit.
