Visited friends there, lovely little village. Would definitely consider staying here next year. Close enough to Corralejo and El Cottillo. Would need a car though as its not too accessible otherwise

Just a good place to drop into for some food, or stay at a villa. Surfers come by on the way to the beach, family atmosphere and a Craft Market on Saturdays.

Catch the bus from Corralejo for the cute little Saturday market. Not many stalls but seemed to be proper crafts rather than tourist tat. A pretty village but only needs a short visit.

We hired a car for a few days and on one of the days we had a trip through the mountains and on our way back to Corralego we stopped at Lajares, in fairness it's a typical sleepy Spanish village, very pretty park area next to a municipal pool and college other than that there is'nt a great deal there, we... This was somewhere we read on Trip Advisor to go but having had a 30 min walk to the bus stop and waited for an hourly service we were very disappointed. Maybe even in the middle of May it was out of season but it was like a ghost town...made sure we went on the market day but only about... More

This is little village just outside of Corralejo and has a few bars and restaurants and other attractions, but basically it is just a nice friendly little place and well worth a visit for the afternoon

Grab a bite to eat at Restaurante Canela Café it's fab! If you're a bit mad there's a walk to/from Corralejo.

Lajares is a very beautifull place to stay for a holiday. The town has his lovely bars for breakfast, dinner and meals. The shops are great with on Saterday his local market. There is even a beauty salon that you can find in a side road to Majanicho. I can recommend this town.

Stopped on the way to El Cotillo. Typical Canarian village with a couple of bars and restaurants and a local football team! Very Pleasant place to stop for a drink.

Lovely to see artisans working away in their studios making crafts. Great cake shops. Nice places to eat. Lovely linen and cotton clothes shop. Good market every week with locally handmade crafts.
