Definitely would recommend staying here/visiting here. More upmarket than other areas of Mallorca. Trendy restaurants/bars - lovely beach area.

Went to Pollentia to see Roman site but the steps leading up to it were too much for six year old legs. Beautiful town.

Nicer shops, nice walk up the 200 or so steps. Worth spending half a day there, and if you can also see the Port Pollencia well worth it.

A number of the reviews here are of the town of Pollenca rather than Pollentia. The latter is the remains of the former Roman town, situated in Alcudia next to the large, free of charge, unpaved car park opposite the church. Compared to sites we have visited in Cyprus and Turkey there is very little to see here with only... More

The beach was crowded and commercial. The marina was pleasant to walk around but the cafe at the end of it was disappointing. The town didn't have a lot going for it.

Our favorite part of Pollenca is the Sunday market. Set in quaint old town Pollenca we had had a great time sampling cheeses, buying fresh fruit and handicrafts Go early - gets' crowded by 11

We visited here during the day initially, strolling along beautiful beaches, going into little shops and thought it was very nice- there was a large selection of restaurants, so of which stretched out into the sea- we visited one "Dallas tex-mex steakhouse" as it was recommended to us by Thomson and looked very popular- the meal unfortunately did not live... We loved it here, you can spend a lot of time walking around the streets getting lost. We parked on a side street and walked in, so we got to see a lot of the little side streets. We will go again!!
