Having found a brochure in the tourist office the Foundation looked to be somewhere worth visiting although we had no idea that it would be so amazing. Brochures can be deceptive - this one understates what we found. If you like art - whether that be painting, sculpture or architecture - don't miss this gem. You can choose just to... More

We visited on a Tuesday when the sculpture park and 'childrens gallery' are free to visit. We had an enjoyable afternoon, the sculpure park is good fun and a relaxing stroll in pleasant scenery. The art in the children's gallery wasn't really to my taste. The place is a little bit difficult to find and further off the beaten track... More

My partner and I visited Fundacion Jakober having found it on Trip Adviser. We wanted to visit on a Friday meaning we had to prebook a guided tour which our hotel receptionist did. The cost was €15 each which we thought was fantastic value for money. I understand there aree specific days in the week where entrance is free. On... More

The reviewer 'visited on a Tuesday when entrance is free' could virtually speak for me - with one important exception. To me, the sculpture park was a bit comme-ci-comme-ca (try going to Barnard's Farm, West Horndon, Essex, UK), but the art collection - paintings of 'nins' or children - was unexpectedly impressive, and beautifully lit. It was all a bit... More

If you like modern art - it is for you. First of all - check working time of gallery. It do not work every day. Sometimes reservation is needed. Some "things" at exhibition is very good.

We happened to book on the spur of the moment and as very often happens when one does this we had a lovely morning. The house and exhibitions are very interesting. The gardens pleasing and the outside sculptures enjoyable. We really enjoyed the Art exhibition. And even though the "road" to get there is a little rustic it only added to the visit. We are... After a bumpy ride by taxi we reached the Foundation where we received a warm welcome. The sculptures were delightful and the rose garden beautiful. We admired the child portraits, but rather disappointed that we couldn't view the modern art collection. I think a special appointment for that was necessary. The small cafe was also closed and when we tried... More

The museum contains a wide variety of different art forms including a sculpture park with large scale animals (our children, 5 and 8 years old absolutely loved this part of the museum!!) The collection of antique children portraits is stunning due to the very original presentation, inside a former water reservoir with fantastic lighting of the paintings. We went there... More

This read as an interesting place to visit from our guide book. It has an art gallery, gardens, sculpture park and a house to look round. Entry is free on Tuesdays, although you can't look around the house on that day. It's a bit of a drive to get there, follow signs for Fundacio from Alcudia out towards Cap De... More
