Expected more, was a little bit disappointed. Some restaurants without flair, ATM, that it . In the middle a sculpture. Won't go there again

For drinking, eating, watching people, eating famous ham of Teruel, having some nice shopping and just starting your day, this Plaza is the natural place to experience Teruel. Chose a hotel close to the Plaza but avoid the Hotel Plaza Torico due to noise in the street all day and night through

Yes, the tiny bull is there, but not much else. Much nicer plazas in many other cities, with less pricey and touristic coffee and ice cream.

This is Teruel's famous town square with its statue of a bull on a plinth. In truth though, we passed through the square without even noticing the bull the first time! The statue is a tiny one on the top of a pillar in a fountain and with so much activity in the square and so much to see, we... More

The bull is very small, perched on his column, but this is a fabulous little square full of cafes and with a couple of lovely buildings. Recommend Teruel for a half day stop off if you are in Valencia or Zaragoza.

Full of bars and shops. Great place for people watching or meeting with friends. Interesting buildings and a lovely historic little bull on a very tall column.

Plenty of cafes and the little bull to look at. Two beautiful Art Deco buildings. Teruel is not big so wandering from the square took us to churches, towers and windy streets a plenty!

If you expect a huge Toro at this plaza, you will be dissapointed. The Torico is just a tiny bull on top of a pillar of a charming fountain. But the plaza itself is the loviest of Teruel and is the heart of the city. It´s surrounded by beautiful buildings. You can find many fancy shops, bars and restaurants at... More

The main plaza in Teruel is the Plaza del Torico. It is adorned with a fountain in the middle of the plaza. There is a statue of a small bull on top of the column in the fountain. There are small heads of bulls as the spigots of the fountain that come out of the column. Why does this fountain... More
