My husband and I go to La Cala on a regular basis when we visit Riviera. There is a market held during the week and saturdays so if you are looking for a bargain, this is the place to go. In La Cala itself on the beachfront, there are some nice places to eat and the beach is lovely. There... More

I did promise you that I would up date you on how we got on during our summer holiday in Benidorm (Spain). We spent two weeks in a fantastic temperature swimming in the Mediterranean sea or playing in the 3 pools, we stayed in a self catering apartment and everything is close by, I rented a shop mobility scooter 40... Beautiful setting, interesting courses, but only two of the three open. Lovely hotel, with lots of views of surrounding hills. Good rooms, great pool area and spa. Only negative - the quality of the food in the restaurant for dinner does not reflect the quality of the facilities - pretty standard hotel fayre. But would be very happy to return.

Love La Cala. Everything you could possibly want is there and yet its only a short bus ride from Fuengirola, and Marbella. Beaches are wonderful. Clean and scattered with little pop up bars/restaurants. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Cant wait to go back!

3 fantastic courses to choose from, Americas, Europe and Asia. Asia is shorter but by far the hardest.

I have played golf here several times. The three courses, Asia, Europe and. America are all good courses and will test the ability of most players regardless of handicap. They are very accommodating and will always talk about special deals and price offers. So please always ask what offers and deals are available.

An amazing amount of improvement work has been done to this area over the last decade to transform it now into an outstanding resort with lovely bars restaurants shops and a big sandy beach with good amenities . It still manages to retain a lovely rustic feel as well with all residents seeming to know each other. Big market on... More
