It started well, we found the Center but it then went down hill. Only one staff member to register and pay and a long queue. It took ages to register (we had prebooked/paid) as the computer system appeared long winded and very slow, made worse by the most unhappy, unsmiling and miserable sole member of staff. However it improved greatly thereafter... More

Coundn't fault this hotel, from registration to leaving - excellent. I'm not a golfer but this must be golfing paradise. Walked courses and dined in outdoor fountain resaraunt at night. Sat reading on room private rooftop sunning area - bliss. Perfect - quiet, peaceful, highly recommended at reasonable cost. Definetly be going back.

I just have to follow my wifes review with one of my own. Sometimes the way problems are dealt with shows the underlying quality of a business: we had 2 'problems' during our stay, firstly when I saw the room that had been allocated to us I was a little disappointed as the balcony overlooked the swimming pools. I had... More

Just got back from what I can honestly say is my best holiday in years. The resort is superb and the staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed for 7 nights, playing all three of the courses - Americas and Europa twice, and the Asia course once. Having read some of the reviews I was expecting to lose balls all... More

Stayed here for 3 days to attend a wedding . Hotel room was lovely with a stunning view overlooking one of the golf courses. Played 2 of the 3 courses, and being relatively new to the game enjoyed it..... but some holes were exceptionally hard ! Would definitely come back !! Food was wonderful, staff were very helpful and polite... More

Stayed for 4 nights and played all 3 on site golf courses as a group of 4. Fantastic scenery, but bring plenty of balls - u will probably need them - courses well laid out and in very good condition. Hotel and facilities very good , as is breakfast. We got a taxi to town of La Cala every evening... More

Played the America course recently and I thought it was fantastic. Not easy so you had to play well but still opportunities to score if you play well. Facilities were 1st class and can't wait to return to Spain to play the other two.Thank you for an excellent way to finish our holiday!

Golf is good fun hotel is of good standard but if you are looking for a drink after 12 then you will be faced with unhelpful staff and very grumpy night porter so I would not recommend the hotel if you are looking to enjoy yourself. Breakfast is very good and good service. Sorry to say not the full package... More

Dear Mr Moore Thank you for your visit to La Cala Resort and for your feedback. I was disappointed to learn that you found our team in the lobby bar and our night manager unhelpful and grumpy. Certainly, it´s not representative of the feedback we generally receive about both areas and the service we provide, but I accept that it... More

We played Americas and had a fantastic time. Really challenging but enjoyable also. Every green is a tricky elevated one and the fairways are not the simplest to hit. The scenery and pure imagination behind some holes was incredible and really made you think about each shot. The only downside was the snobbery of the caddy master who upon seeing... More

If you want a gentle round of golf, think again. These courses are not for the high handicap golfer. Tight and unforgiving, it is tough to score if you are not long and straight off the tee. Great quality greens and well presented though. The most approachable is the Europa course but even this has tough challenges. Beware, however, their... More
