I have played all 3 courses at La Cala - America, Asia and Europa...and each one will test your game, your course management and yes, at times, your patience...sometimes I have left the course thinking...Yes, I love this game and can't wait to get out and play again...and other times I have been so frustrated at my game that I... Played all 3 La Cala courses recently; all in good condition but virtually impossible to play, and very, very unfair. Few good drives go unpunished and the greens are most unusual to say the least. Average round take 5.5 hours which isn't at all surprising; lots of non-golfers out there and I'd say they will never play golf again. To... More

3 courses, nearly the worst I've ever played, tho' some good holes. Very pretty, not designed by a golfer. Worst designed greens I have ever encountered, small, facing the wrong way, sloping the wrong way, nearly unplayable. Some holes were literally unplayable.

Just played the 3 La Cala courses. Don't get sucked in by any deals and don't get the designer near your course. They must be the most frustrating courses to play in any golf complex in the world. They are not suitable for any standard golfer from a professional to a hacker. They built a 3rd course here in the recent... More

Played La Cala last June and enjoyed ourselves - loved the Asia layout but they'd cored and topdressed the greens at the time, so decided that while we're in the area in Jan 15 we'd revisit and play the Asia. We weren't disappointed. The course was in excellent condition with the greens running fast and true - if I'm honest... More

La Cala offers a superb test for all golfers. Asia is really for a single figure handicap golfer whilst America and Europa are more for my level (15 handicap). The condition as always is superb and whilst I will miss Asia off my list a visit to La Cala is a must on any golfing holiday.

Had to buy a long sleeve top in the pro shop ! overall we were pleased with our round of golf, as it was much warmer than the UK in December we Had a snack after in the clubhouse... More
