First time to La Cala. Great resort, well put together / laid out. We played the Americas course and it was a toughie for us. Fabulous opening tee shot, lots of opportunities to carry across 'waste areas' or ravines and some tight fairways. I struggled with the rough as the grass was thick (not deep) and I was not impressed... More

The Europa course at La Cala, is the newest, the longest, the most open, the hilliest, and in my opinion the best! To elaborate: We play this course most years on our annual golf trip as it always in good condition, the fairways are generous in width from the tees. Generally it isn’t just a procession of golfers being herded... More

Second visit to La Cala in 2 years and the courses were better than ever. Lush fairways, good greens and interesting and challenging holes. The pace was relaxing, the locals friendly and the upside of this resort is the pro shop is a short walk from the hotel and the 3 courses easily accessible via a short buggy ride. Preferable... Played the Europa and the Asia course in July 15. Both courses are very hilly, and you have to have a buggy. There are some blind holes, and very few spots on the fairway were you have the feet and the ball at the same level, either you are above or below the ball, most of the time. The fairways... More

It started well, we found the Center but it then went down hill. Only one staff member to register and pay and a long queue. It took ages to register (we had prebooked/paid) as the computer system appeared long winded and very slow, made worse by the most unhappy, unsmiling and miserable sole member of staff. However it improved greatly thereafter... More

Coundn't fault this hotel, from registration to leaving - excellent. I'm not a golfer but this must be golfing paradise. Walked courses and dined in outdoor fountain resaraunt at night. Sat reading on room private rooftop sunning area - bliss. Perfect - quiet, peaceful, highly recommended at reasonable cost. Definetly be going back.

I just have to follow my wifes review with one of my own. Sometimes the way problems are dealt with shows the underlying quality of a business: we had 2 'problems' during our stay, firstly when I saw the room that had been allocated to us I was a little disappointed as the balcony overlooked the swimming pools. I had... More

Just got back from what I can honestly say is my best holiday in years. The resort is superb and the staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed for 7 nights, playing all three of the courses - Americas and Europa twice, and the Asia course once. Having read some of the reviews I was expecting to lose balls all... More

Stayed here for 3 days to attend a wedding . Hotel room was lovely with a stunning view overlooking one of the golf courses. Played 2 of the 3 courses, and being relatively new to the game enjoyed it..... but some holes were exceptionally hard ! Would definitely come back !! Food was wonderful, staff were very helpful and polite... More

Stayed for 4 nights and played all 3 on site golf courses as a group of 4. Fantastic scenery, but bring plenty of balls - u will probably need them - courses well laid out and in very good condition. Hotel and facilities very good , as is breakfast. We got a taxi to town of La Cala every evening... More
