Great tour of the cellars, whole thing about 60 minutes with leisurely tasting of three ports before and after the walk. At €5 very reasonable, courteous staff and a good looking restaurant. We only had time to dawdle on the terrace and gardens and in good weather great. Took a bit of finding from the metro but worth the walk.

I'm not really a Port person. And I actually also don't really like tours. But I figured.. when in Porto.. you need to do this. I ended up spending half the afternoon at Taylor's and I wouldn't have missed it for anything! And one of the reasons was that it was super easy going. The tour was €5 and included... More

They provide tours into their cellar (cave) at cost of 5EUR/person. The tour will take 30-40mins during which history of the wine house and the process of making Port wines are introduced. Very unique experience and I really learnt a bit what's behind different Port wines. They have a shop selling Port wines with prices ranging 9EUR up to 3000EUR.

We went for the tour, which was very interesting, and found out they had a restaurant as well. We decided to have lunch there and we were impressed both by the very good food and the service even though they were really busy which usually lowers the overall experience, but ii was not the case this time. Good menu suggestions,... More

We visited the Taylors Port Lodge in November 2015 originally to go on one of the tours but when we arrived, there was quite a long wait until the next English speaking tour, so instead we decided to have a couple of glasses of port in their beautiful garden as the weather was so nice. What a lovely relaxing time... More

Very nice tour with a lot of information and a nice views of the caskets of Port. The tour guide has the routine too practiced and feels like a bit pretentious after a while, but overall it's nice and interesting. You get 3 types of Porto, white, ruby and tawny.

Taylor's had been recommended. Paid 5 euros which included a 40 minute tour by a very informative guide and 3 glasses of port. One white a tawny bad a ruby.

Great place to taste and learn about Port. We didn't do the tour but the tasting room was pretty quiet so we spoke to the ladies behind the bar. They directed us through the basics of Port tasting and then said which we should get to taste. Really helpful and very friendly. We returned a couple days later. Tried another... More

We visited Taylor's as we knew this brand of Porto among many others. The winery is on top of the hill, so it may be a little tiring to get up there, especially in summer. The tour is interesting although it may seem quick. Nonetheless, after that, you can get your tasting of 3 different portos and drink them on... More

Great place to visit to get to know a little bit about the world famous Port. With more than 300 year, this is one of the oldest Port wine company and it's still a family business. Take a guided tour to learn about the company, the wine and taste some Port.
