Always busy due to location and with a flashy logo it seemed like a good choice for a second tour. The tour was in English. Sort of. The tour guide spent most of the time trying to think of words and making excuses that she was used to hosting in French which begs the question why was she leading an... More

Interesting visit, reasonable price! The staff is friendly and well trained, the tour is interesting and... the port is great! We tried the Ruby and the White Port, both really good! Recommended

just did the more expensive 1790 tour costing e16 and i think it was well worth it, got to taste 3 more expensive ports - vau vintage,10 yr tawny and the imperial reserve as well as the founders and the white which you get on the e6 tour. The actual tour is only average and the same as the basic... More

We had a guided tour in the cellars of Sandeman. A tour of 30 minutes with two tastings costs €6,00. It isn't very expensive. They explain the difference between the port wines and the history of Sandeman.

This tour takes about 30 minutes and this is followed by a tasting of white, tawny and the well known ruby ports. The cost was about 3 euros which was good value. The cellars are a little dark and there is little to keep children amused. The guide was good, well versed in the history of this particular port producer... More

The visit has been rushed and crowded. The guide was sounding a little like an audiobook with absolutely no passion in whatever it was said. Good selection of Portos to taste at the end. Though, again , wasn't feeling like a tasting, but rather "drink it and get away!"

The cocktail bar on the courtyard was very good and the family declared that the sangria from here to be the best in Porto, and in fact anywhere else. Good snacks available and a lovely view over the Duoro. An very good cocktail list, expertly made and presented. The museum inside was fascinating and especially interesting and different by emphasising the... More

A good tour around the cellar with a nice guide that explained to us a lot about the porto wines! The best part?!? The taste of the red and white porto, of course!

We much preferred other port wine tours - no names mentioned - as this was limited and more expensive than the others. Also it attracts very large groups and therefore is much less intimate and interesting. Nice wash rooms however!
