This tour included a walk through the wine cellars with a guide giving the history and a short film before a tasting! Lots of great souvenirs/gifts/wine/accessories to buy as well. There is also a small museum with historical items from the winery. Sorry I don't have pricing. Also after the tour, there are lots of great restaurants to check out... More

Probably hands down the best tour you can get. Very impressive, lots of rooms, excellent guides dressed with the cape and hat you know from their logo - they do (marketing) very well. I went for the Premium tour for 9 Euros, which will give you an extra 3rd glass with a 10 year old tawny. The ports are good,... More

What a very interesting morning at Sandeman. The history was well presented by the guide and we learned some very interesting facts about port and its production. it was not too intense and the tasting at the end was also very worth while.

My brother and I were lucky as we arrived 10 minutes before a tour iin English was due to start. It cost €5 for approximately 35 minutes. There is a little 'museum' at the entrance hall where you are free to browse throught the advertisements of Sandeman over the past hundred years. Inside, the tour guide explained about the three... The tour of Sandeman Port House is worth every cent. The guide will take you thru the port cellars and give a history of George Sandemans port wine. The tour ends with tastings. One can purchase a variety of port and wines after the tastings.

Interesting tour in the sandeman caves. It was rather expensive (6 €/pp), and the explanation was limited, but when you go to porto, you have to visit one of the caves, just for teh smell of teh wooden barrels.

My husband and I visited a few port wineries during our stay in Porto, and this one was our favorite. It was large, with a great tour and wonderful port wines. What I liked best was the ability to sit outside near the river and sip our port. We were able to order some appetizers and relax, watching those walking... More

This is one of the best Porto Cellars in the World. The other one is Quinta do Seixo in Valença do Douro
