Our Tour Guide was excellent and did a great job setting the scene for how Adriano Ramos Pinto began his business 1880. Casa Ramos Pinto rapidly became noted, at the time, for its innovative and enterprising strategy. Associated with quality bottled wines, it began operating on the Brazilian market in the early 20th century and quickly became responsible for half... More

We didn't do a tour of the Ramos Pinto lodge, but we did go for a tasting. We chose the Intermediate tasting for 10 Euros. We were seated on a couch, then brought a tray with a flight of 5 different ports. The pours were generous enough for the two of us to share the tasting. What made it more... More

Our tour group visited Casos Ramos Pinto today. We toured their museum, cellar and then had a tasting of white and ruby ports and bought some souvenirs in the shop. The Co. guide was very knowledgeable. The old advertising posters are beautiful and available for purchase.

We were surprised with a tour of the Ramos Pinto museum and a tour of the wine cellar. The art work was great and the tour was informative. After the tour we had a wine tasting of the different types of port. It was fabulous. The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and made the tour very interesting.

It's just mind boggling. So much choice and and what do you decide. But a decision has to be made so we chose this Bodega which was included with a 50 minute boat trip. It cost 12 Euros. A little over the average price but well worth it. Small boat trip of 50 minutes and just 7 of us. Good... More

Visiting Ramos Pinto was a pleasure. Even though the guide was sort of "rushing" us through the museum, it was great to have a look at the exuberance displayed by R.P.'s founder. The tastings were good, particularly the white port. For 5 €, this one hour visit is really a good deal.

Excellent tour about the history of port wine, and most importantly, the history of Ramos Pinto. You will learn a lot and will get to try port wine at the end of the tour!

The visit at Casa Ramos Pinto was really nice, is the only winehouse with a real little museum inside, the old office of Adriano Ramos Pinto is a masterpiece. Although the Porto wine that we tried there was great, in fact Ramos Pinto produces only the 1% of all the Porto wine, everything is based on quality.

When we travelled to Porto, it rained all Sunday. We were told to go to Ramos Pinto, and we weren't dissappointed. While waiting for the tour to start, we sampled several ports. Then they explained the history of Ramos Pinto and brought us through their cellars. The tour guide was happy to answer any and all questions. I really don't... More

I visited Ramos Pinto wine cellar and had a fantastic time. They offer cellar tours in different languages so sign up earlier if you require English language tour. I was pleased to be told all stories about the founders and history of Ramos Pinto company. After visiting the house, you are taken to the cellar where you are shown video... More
