I had the pleasure of doing the Port Expert tasting which was five different ports, LBV, Vintage (2005), 10, 20 and 30 year old tawnys. What a treat! I have always enjoyed the 20 year old tawny, but the 30 is worth the price. Wonderful ports for every taste. A visit to the museum is also quite interesting and informative... More

We had a nice tour of the Casa Ramos Pinto led by Rita. She did a fantastic job with our tour in English, explaining clearly the history of the company as well as the Port wine making process. We very much enjoyed the tour and the tasting that followed.

I decided to visit Ramos Pinto because I am not familiar with this brand of port. The guided tour was led by a Portuguese girl with excellent English and a sense of humour. We were shown round the offices, and regaled with stories of the past before descending to the cellars where our guide explained the process and answered questions.... More

We loved our five-port tasting at Ramos Pinto, definitely the best value tasting of aged quality port that we found. We tried the sample of vintage and tawny they have which were all excellent. We appreciated the info cards that came with each sample. Our meat platter had a generous amount of meat. They clearly prepare the platters in advance,... More

We have been to many wine cellars and this one stood out in the way it presented it's self. It focused on its initial marketing approach and the history of its founder Ramos Pinto. Of course the tour covered the standard how Port is produced the different types etc And finished with a tasting. Highly enjoyable and I recommend a... More

Access to the museum gives us more insight to the history of the brand. Compared to my visits to Taylor's, Cockburn, Graham's, Croft and Ferreira. This tour was the must informative and fun to experience. The port tasting however was unimpressive.

We had the chance to get a private tour since there were no other people. Our guide had a good english and told us the story of the production and how the wine is made. Interesting house to visit. The cave is not very big since it is not ht main storage of the house. we were served a very... More

We were walking by right when they opened at decided to do a tasting. We're glad we did. Lovely place for a tasting. Staff was very nice and helpful and the port was great! Highly recommend stopping here. We even went back at the end of the day to buy more.

The cable car lift from the top of the bridge down to the port wine houses drops you off almost at the door of Ramos Pinto. For this reason it was our first stop for port wine tasting in Porto. I'm a reasonably knowledgeable port wine drinker and had Ramos Ponto on my must visit list, although I didn't plan... More

I can recommend Casa Ramos Pinto in Gaia. There is an excursion to the museum, wine cellar and tasting two wines. Tours in English are at 14:00 and you pay 6 euros. Moreover, you can buy your favourite wine in a shop in the entry hall. Wonderful!
