Access to the museum gives us more insight to the history of the brand. Compared to my visits to Taylor's, Cockburn, Graham's, Croft and Ferreira. This tour was the must informative and fun to experience. The port tasting however was unimpressive.

We had the chance to get a private tour since there were no other people. Our guide had a good english and told us the story of the production and how the wine is made. Interesting house to visit. The cave is not very big since it is not ht main storage of the house. we were served a very... More

We were walking by right when they opened at decided to do a tasting. We're glad we did. Lovely place for a tasting. Staff was very nice and helpful and the port was great! Highly recommend stopping here. We even went back at the end of the day to buy more.

The cable car lift from the top of the bridge down to the port wine houses drops you off almost at the door of Ramos Pinto. For this reason it was our first stop for port wine tasting in Porto. I'm a reasonably knowledgeable port wine drinker and had Ramos Ponto on my must visit list, although I didn't plan... More

I can recommend Casa Ramos Pinto in Gaia. There is an excursion to the museum, wine cellar and tasting two wines. Tours in English are at 14:00 and you pay 6 euros. Moreover, you can buy your favourite wine in a shop in the entry hall. Wonderful!

The visit to Casa Ramos Pinto was suggested to us by the tourist information centre if we wanted to experience a portuguese Port winery. The visit was very interesting and it nicely ended with a tasting of two different types of Port in the main hall of the museum. Definitely recommended!

Although a bit less structured than other places, we really enjoyed our visit here. The lady at the front counter took her time explaining to us the different options available and giving us some basic education on Port wine. We went with her recommendation and really got to sample a nice selection of wines. We received some little note cards... More

As well as the usual port tour this place has preserved the original building and offices as a museum, well worth seeing. Comfortable area to taste the excellent port. Try the red Lagrima, a very different port, this is the only firm that produce it. Going back to Porto tomorrow with a friend on his first visit and will be... More

Our Tour Guide was excellent and did a great job setting the scene for how Adriano Ramos Pinto began his business 1880. Casa Ramos Pinto rapidly became noted, at the time, for its innovative and enterprising strategy. Associated with quality bottled wines, it began operating on the Brazilian market in the early 20th century and quickly became responsible for half... More
