It was a nice experience. We went there to taste some good Porto wine. We choose chocolate and Porto. The sommelier, in a good and simple English explained us difference among the three Porto we tasted and make us visit the cave. She was kind and she answered to our question. The only thing we really didn't like was other... More

I went to Croft in July, and normally there’s a lot of tourists in all the city... But it was only me and a couple from Korea. The tour it was very nice and our guide – Filipa – was very friendly and well prepared to explain all the production of Port Wine. With the tour you can taste 3... More

We visited while on a weekend break. You find yourself waiting for the tour in a beautiful stone space which has plenty of seats as well as an indication of the retail offers available. We were given a white port and a tour of the cellars which outlined the history, production methods and a broad level of information relating to... More

This is not the first wine lodge that I have visited in Porto. The classic and cheapest tour costs 5 euros and includes wine tasting (2 ports), I'm not a wine expert that worked absolutely fine for me. The tour is in different languages, so just make sure to walk in with the idiom tour of your choice, or send... More

We only visited one port lodge and based our choice on other reviews, as we only had a short time in Porto, we chose Croft. Our taxi dropped us outside...it is up a steep street with views over the river, and has a nice outside seating area. The cellar was lovely...lots of history. There were choices of tours and we... My fiancée and I took the classic tour of the Croft wine lodges. This cost 5 euors per person and included three different ports. The tour guide was very informative and clearly enjoyed his job a great deal. There are other options available including a chocolate and port tasting (7 euros each) and a port and cocktail tasting (10 euros).... More

We didn't take the tour, only did a tasting, but the staff was wonderful! The walk to the tasting room was beautiful, and the port itself was fantastic. I'd never had pink port before (and I'm a port drinker from way back), so that was the first exciting new experience at Croft. The late-bottled vintage we tried was just phenomenal,... More

We have been in several caves during our stay in porto, croft's one were definitely the loviest and most typical. For 5€ we had a guided tour of 30min and a degustation of 3 ports: one pink, one ruby and one tawny all really good. Staff is nice and tour can be in different languages depending visitors. A must to... More

They were friendly, lively, funny, and interesting. The place is dripping with history and atmosphere, but there was no hint of pretension. Our tour guide was fun, knowledgable, and easy going. And the wine is some of the best in Porto.
