Went on a multi-generational trip to the zoo. Took my two daughters, son-in-law, and 2-year-old granddaughter there in late August. It is just the right size to visit for a few hours with a young child and her very pregnant mother. My granddaughter loves Thomas the Train, so a highlight for her was a trip on the small train around... More

This is a great place to take the family. The exhibits are neat and nit run down. The animals look healthy and content. I especially like the large floating globe they have at the front entrance where kids and adults can play in the water. The price is reasonable and membership is also reasonable. Great place to go on a... More

The exhibits were incredible and the animals were interesting! The train ride was fun a little short.

My kids (ages 1 and 3) and I have been here about 10 times since July when we bought a year long pass, which has been a great value. The zoo is always very clean, the staff very friendly, and a nice variety of animals to see that all seem very happy and healthy. It is not a huge zoo,... More

My wife and I visited here while on our honeymoon. The weather was a little chilly and overcast that day, but we still had a great time. Our favorites were the red pandas and the squirrel monkeys. The beautiful gardens are also as much of the attraction as the animals. It was very reasonably priced. We did walk the park... More

We have made occasional visits to the Norfolk Zoo since the mid-1990s, and we have enjoyed seeing them steadily add fun new exhibits with impressive theming. Today we saw the newly expanded Asia exhibit for the first time, with the new tiger enclosure, plus asian bears, apes, and other fascinating animals. It's inexpensive and a great place to visit, especially... More

Great place to bring the little one! It is very well kept and buying a season pass makes sense if you go more than three times a year.

I was really impressed with this zoo! I have been to zoos across the country and I this is one of my favorites. Not only are the animal enclosures amazing but so are all of the gardens! The animals were even interactive like the tiger he kept roaring whenever he wanted attention. It was really cool.

I grew up with the Norfolk Zoo, and I have to say I'm beyond impressed with the renovations. It seems there's so much to see and do there! The butterfly garden is fun to walk through, and the partitioned "themes" around the park are great, you move from the farm, to the nocturnal world, all the way around to the... More
