We booked due to such good reviews and very glad I did. We did the 530pm cruise and I cannot say enough about how informative and enjoyable it was. The guide was so knowledgeable! We got to see the USS Cole and the Harry Truman. Snacks and drinks, including adult beverages were available for purchase. So happy we did this!

If you have any interest in getting a closeup view of the Navy's warships, this is the tour for you. Located on the river next to the city's boardwalk, this tour starts slow with some non-naval places of interest and information about the USS Wisconsin, a WWII battleship docked at the Nauticus facility next door. The captain gives a rapid-fire... More

This cruise was must better than we had ever dreamed it would be. The Captain was extremely knowledgeable with facts about every vessel that was seen during the cruise. We were lucky enough to get to see the USS Harry S Truman carrier and a submarine returning to port. Please keep in mind that you will only get to see... More

The Captain of the Rover spoke almost nonstop during the 2 hour tour to describe all of the ships and shared some history on several. If you go on this tour go up top and sit mid ship on the right side. Bring your camera! The Boat was very clean quiet and worth the money.

Very happy I made the trip to do this. Staff and equipment all first rate! The best way yet to see the big ships and get a history lesson too.

Wonderful cruise of the Norfolk Harbor and specifically the Naval Yard. The Captain was well versed about the entire area and we had a wonderful time. Departure and arrival were prompt. They serve snacks and beverages on board. Add this to your "to do" list when you're in the area.

We found this tour on trip advisor before we travel to Norfolk generally people gave good reviews and they were right it is very chillaxed two hours on the boat and Captain gave a great explanation of all the sites I found the tour very knowledgeable and amusing. A tip; parking is across the street from the boarding Harbor so... More

You have air conditioned seats or you can sit on upper level which is not air conditioned but have a better view. The ship is kinda small so you can only stay on upper deck and tail of the ship. You are not allowed to walk on the side of the ship on the first level. My husband liked it... More

So glad we took the time to do this cruise. Fascinating to see all the ships in dry dock in for repairs. You get a chance to see the magnitude of their size. While cruising the river we saw several cargo ships coming into port to unload their containers. Tug boats were there to help them. I thought that was... More
