We decided to take this 2 hour cruise based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. Learned a lot about the area and what goes on here. Had a nice day for the cruise also. Highly recommend.

I had to take a day off from walking, and this sounded ideal. One boards the boat at NAUTICUS which is where one buys tickets, There are 2 stars here...the cruise boat and the Navy ships one sees. The boat is very comfortable. I took a Dramamine one hour before, but I don't think there is a need for this.... More

Enjoyed the 2 hour tour. Chad, the captain spoke very clearly and was extremely informative. We added the nauticus extra option which was worthwhile. We sat on the right which gave the best views on the way out. For more photo options there is space down some steps at the front of the boat. Just in case you sit at... More

My husband and I with our son, his wife and 3 children, age 6,5, and 2 enjoyed this boat ride very much. It was educational for the 5 and 6 yr old and even the 2 yr old didn't get bored as she viewed all the ships and explored the boat. The 6 yr old was intrigued with the Hospital... More

This tour was my part of my itinerary. but glad i change my mind. You board the boat near the Nautilus Museum. You get see many of the US Navy ships that are in-port . They narrated what you are passing by on the water sometimes you pass ships that are either leave or coming back to port. if you... More

This was wonderful. We saw the expected Naval boats but also saw commercial boat loading areas, coal loading areas, Norfolk and Hampton shorelines, and a special treat was seeing a whale. The captain was fantastic narrating the tour and slowing the boat down at interesting sites for pictures. After hearing us rave about this tour several relatives started planning how... More

What a relaxing two-hours. The perfect way to understand more about the powerful activity that takes place on these local waterways. The Captain and Crew were very hospitable. The Captain's narration was exceptional. We chose the 5:30-7:30 p.m. and lucked out with beautiful weather too. With 5 children under 11 and 4 adults we all completely enjoyed different aspects. Snacks,... More

My 6 year love LOVED IT. His dad and teenager brother too. We got to see several ships. This particular ship is very clean. Stuff is all about security. Very nice. Their prices for snacks/adult drinks are REALLY reasonable.

I went on the Victory Rover Naval Base Cruise and am glad I did. When you board the ship, I recomend sitting on the top level to get a better look at everything the tour guide is pointing out. During the cruise, passengers get a great look at the Naval Base and all the different battle ships, which are described... More
