This cruise was informative and a decent value. It is very interesting hearing all the facts about the harbor, the workings of the ports and the naval fleet. The air conditioning on the lower level is a definite plus on a hot day.

We have been to San Diego and taken the cruise tour there and wanted to complete the set this trip. We bought the combo tour which includes the Museum and the USS Wisconsin. The Captain was very detailed in all the information about both the naval ships and the rest of the harbour. The commentary was at all times crystal clear... More

Terrific cruise aboard comfortable boat. First hour is narrated & provides fascinating tour of the navy ships in port, container ships, and the ships in dry dock. Highly recommended. Small snack bar on lower level sells basic snacks & beverages. Upper level is open but is reached only via steps. Very suitable for older children (10 and up); younger children... More

We were hoping to take a Naval base tour, but hadn't decided quite what to do. One of the volunteers aboard the USS Wisconsin suggested this cruise. IT WAS FANTASTIC! The narration was incredible and the view was outstanding! The 2 hours went very quickly, but it was the right amount of time to see it all. We got to... More

Beautiful day- narrated, comfortable cruise. Enjoyed seeing all of the Navy ships and the container ships. Huge cranes that load and unload the commercial ships. Will take husband next time!

This is a well done cruise through the harbor. We were impressed with the knowledge of staff about all the naval ships, as well as the container yards and coal ships, etc. It is a great chance to see all the naval ships that are in port as well as all the ships that are at the different piers. On... More

Every American who is in the Norfolk area should go on this tour. The captain had more knowledge about these ships than you could imagine. We were up close looking at this naval fleet and it was hard to imagine how enormous these ships are. The memorial that is close to where you board the boat is not to be... More

Well done cruise through the harbor. Impressed with the knowledge of staff and the air conditioning as we were there on one of the hottest days of the year. Good chance to see a lot of navy ships and learn about the local economic activities at the shipping piers. Everything ran smoothly and I'd recommend for anyone interesting in military... More

This was the best way to see the Naval base and learn about the ships! Fabulous tour - relaxing and very informative! One of our favorite activities while visiting Williamsburg! Buy the combo ticket so that you can board and tour the Battleship Wisconsin!

We chose the combo pack ticket which also includes the tour of nauticus museum and the tour of battleship Wisconsin. The captain was very informative and shared a lot of information about not just the ships and when/how they are used but also about the area of norfolk/portsmouth. Probably not the most interesting/ entertaining thing for very small children as... More
