I had a been in the area on business for the week and my final day in the area I took this cruise. I really enjoyed the narration regarding the area and the navy yard. I had been curious about what all the boats did and the information was great. Best way to see the area, very reasonable rate, and... More

This two hour cruise is the best way to see the naval base and shipyards by water. The captain is well-informed and keeps up an almost non-stop narrative of all things nautical while cruising the Elizabeth River. Get a seat up front in the bow for the best view. Glad we took this trip and would do so again.

We booked this cruise in conjunction with our visit to Nauticus. The cruise was an excellent way to see the naval base as well as the many other activities of the port. It was a very informative tour and seeing the many ships, including an aircraft carrier, was inspiring.

We were very excited to take this cruise and to see the sights and Navy shipyard. We went on a warm September day and sat on the upper level. I was thankful for the cover above us to help block the sun. The sights we saw were great and the ships in the yard were amazing. The captain and his... More

This is a must try attraction if ever you are in Norfolk. We arrived and stayed in Hampton without much knowledge of what to do or see but when the hotel reception suggested the tour we jumped at it. The 90 minute cruise came with a running commentary from the very knowledgeable skipper who described every ship docked by name... More

WOW! What a great tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The narrative tour was so informative and actually seeing the USS Bush and USS Roosevelt Aircraft carriers was a treat. Didn't realize just how big port of Norfolk was and how many cargo ships are loaded there. All 8 of us really enjoyed the tour and came away... More

The Captain is very knowledgeable about the harbor and gets you as close to all the sights as he can. He gives a narrative of all the sights you see. He also will give as much notice as he can about how rough the water may be in certain areas. The Navy yard was impressive and the captain gave us... More

We take harbor cruises most places we go, and this will be a very tough one to beat. not only do you get taking along side Aircraft Carriers, Destroyers, Battleships, and some Navy vessels I don't even know (but they sure looked cool), but the Captain is giving a live narration of what you see. Not canned, he knows the... More

The Victory Rover is a great way to see ships of the Sixth Fleet in port. The Captain was very knowledgable about the ships and buildings around the base and around Norfolk and Portsmouth. It was an enjoyable experience.

What a great way to see the commercial & Navy ports of call! The captain was very informative. The tour stays in the channel so the ride is smooth. There is plenty of seating either outside or inside with great views from either place. This is a great activity if you like history or military information.
