This was wonderful. We saw the expected Naval boats but also saw commercial boat loading areas, coal loading areas, Norfolk and Hampton shorelines, and a special treat was seeing a whale. The captain was fantastic narrating the tour and slowing the boat down at interesting sites for pictures. After hearing us rave about this tour several relatives started planning how... More

What a relaxing two-hours. The perfect way to understand more about the powerful activity that takes place on these local waterways. The Captain and Crew were very hospitable. The Captain's narration was exceptional. We chose the 5:30-7:30 p.m. and lucked out with beautiful weather too. With 5 children under 11 and 4 adults we all completely enjoyed different aspects. Snacks,... More

My 6 year love LOVED IT. His dad and teenager brother too. We got to see several ships. This particular ship is very clean. Stuff is all about security. Very nice. Their prices for snacks/adult drinks are REALLY reasonable.

I went on the Victory Rover Naval Base Cruise and am glad I did. When you board the ship, I recomend sitting on the top level to get a better look at everything the tour guide is pointing out. During the cruise, passengers get a great look at the Naval Base and all the different battle ships, which are described... More

This was so cool. We got to see all sorts of naval ships. The two Nimitz class aircraft carriers were so amazing. If you want to see navy vessels, this is the way to do it.

I like this excursion on the river it was a 2 hour tour. It was amazing to see the size of the ships up close as we passed by. Our captain shared details about the area and places of interest along the water way. The only thing that might have been better is if the narration lasted the whole trip.... More

Great tour, well worth the time. Highly recommend the package deal so you can access the museum and the battleship. Just as earlier reviews mention, get there a bit early and sit on the right side of the ship.

There was comfortable seating aboard the ship. You are exposed to the outside elements on the topside, and the lower deck was enclosed with A/C. Gifts and refreshments were sold onboard, and the captain was very knowledgeable about the ships. I learned a lot of interesting things. Also, the adults were allowed to move freely during the tour, while children... More

This is an essential "to do" in Norfolk and they do it in a wonderful way. We just loved it. Two hours of non stop information about the Norfolk Harbor, boat yards, river development and a view of the United States Naval Yard from the water that is fabulous. The captain narrated the whole trip and didn't miss a thing.... More
