We stayed in Williamsburg and did all the historical stuff. We wanted to see some Navy ships up close and this was very worth the hour drive. The captain and crew were very knowledgeable. Took some amazing photos of the ships docked at Norfolk. This was the best part of our trip.

This water borne trip to see the Norfolk Naval Base is not to be missed. It is an economical way to see amazing naval vessels (In addition to numerous merchant ships in the locality) from the comfort of a modern boat. The vessel is well equipped with air conditioned lower decks, and an upper outside deck that is great for... More

We have done this tour for many years with another company. This was the first time on the Victory Rover. It was very enjoyable. The boat was very clean and attractive. Large air conditioned downstairs with large viewing windows. Top was partially open and partially canopy covered. Tour takes two hours and through the harbor and the Naval Base. The... More

While visiting Nauticus, we went on this tour. It was really nice hour long boat ride through the harbor. They give tour details all the way through of all of the sights on the way out and just relaxing music on the way back in. It's pretty amazing to see all of the ships up so close. You know they... This cruise was informative and a decent value. It is very interesting hearing all the facts about the harbor, the workings of the ports and the naval fleet. The air conditioning on the lower level is a definite plus on a hot day.

We have been to San Diego and taken the cruise tour there and wanted to complete the set this trip. We bought the combo tour which includes the Museum and the USS Wisconsin. The Captain was very detailed in all the information about both the naval ships and the rest of the harbour. The commentary was at all times crystal clear... More

Terrific cruise aboard comfortable boat. First hour is narrated & provides fascinating tour of the navy ships in port, container ships, and the ships in dry dock. Highly recommended. Small snack bar on lower level sells basic snacks & beverages. Upper level is open but is reached only via steps. Very suitable for older children (10 and up); younger children... More

We were hoping to take a Naval base tour, but hadn't decided quite what to do. One of the volunteers aboard the USS Wisconsin suggested this cruise. IT WAS FANTASTIC! The narration was incredible and the view was outstanding! The 2 hours went very quickly, but it was the right amount of time to see it all. We got to... More

This is a well done cruise through the harbor. We were impressed with the knowledge of staff about all the naval ships, as well as the container yards and coal ships, etc. It is a great chance to see all the naval ships that are in port as well as all the ships that are at the different piers. On... More
