I bought this offer through Living Social at half off, so for $25 for two people, it was definitely worth a try! We arrived a little later to board the sailboat but pretty easily found seats near the front of the boat. Caveat: along with a few other young couples, we were some of the youngest people on the boat... More

My wife and I decided to take the afternoon cruise on Sunday. Was one of the last cruises of the season and we were not disappointed. Very relaxing cruise around the historic bay and lots of interesting things to see. The crew were great and very attentive to your needs. The Captain of this beautiful ship really knew the local... I received an offer for half off, so at $25 for two people, how could I go wrong? I bought this 2 hour cruise for myself and my husband. I have been on sailboats before and when I saw pictures of the ship, I knew right away that it wouldn't be like any sailboat ride I had been on before.... More

We like to take these sunset cruises whenever we're in a port city. This was one of the best. The captain and crew were very friendly and professional. We sailed past all of the important elements in our part of the Elizabeth River: the dry docks, the coal depot, parts of the naval base, etc. On the inbound portion of... More

Went on 9/11 and viewed our American flag at half mast while touring the harbor area of downtown Norfolk at sunset. It was a gorgeous breezy night so we could use the full sails and it was great fun to watch the crew in motion. The captain gave a narrative of what we saw along the way. There were some... More

I took my family on this boat ride and everyone enjoyed it. It wasn't anything amazing or spectacular but neat for the kids to see. It was their first time on a boat. There were only 15 people onboard during our cruise. The weather was perfect. I think the action that we saw off the boat was more interesting than... More

My husband and I thought it would be fun to go cruising on a sailboat. We decided to take the 1:30 PM cruise. In one of the coupon books we found a $4 off per person coupon. So the cost was $16 per piece for 2 hours. I would encourage you to get there 30 minutes before your boarding time... More

This little sailboat was a beauty. This was my first three mast sail, and we all enjoyed it. Probably could do without the guitar singer, but he was pretty good. Just seemed a bit out of place. Just great nostalgic activity. Recommend to anyone spending time inNorfolk area.

The sunset is nice but the narrator is just waisted his time explaining unnecessary events..No form of entertainment at all...we went with some Norfolk german and french exchange students. On the evening of July 17 the American Rover hosted a private event for the Norfolk Sister Cities organization for supporters, visiting exchange students and host families. Tickets were sold by the organization to their members – it was not a regularly scheduled public cruise nor was it advertised as such. At the end of the cruise one of our... More

Take your family to a nice family dinner instead. This cruise is overrated and expensive and boring. I've in sunset cruises in NY, Florida, Puerto Rico, Boston: this cruise does not measure up.
