interesting Centre. Allow lots of time to read. Included was a choice of film. When we went the eating facility was closed. Luckily there was an open event on the grassed area next door with great food choices. There are some interactive parts. The children ( or adults) can pick up items from the "seabed" using the controls from an... More

It was nice but maybe my expectations were a little too high. The ship is good to see as it brings a lot of history, but for some reason it kind of left me wanting more. Maybe I was unconsciously comparing it to the Missouri. I think kids would love to explore it. There are some tanks inside with some... More

Really had fun watching the 3D movie, and taking a tour of the USS Wisconsin....what a huge ship...Great time with my boyfriend, he reminisced about his Navy days as we toured the different areas of the ship. Fun for all ages!!

This center is great, it gives you so much information about where out Navy has been and where it is going. It is great. Museum buffs would love this.

Visited 12-30-14. Nice, but a little pricey at a cost of nearly $16 to enter. That does include access to USS Wisconsin exterior decks and two lower decks. For full tours the cost was $30 or more. On the plus, lots of attractions including naval history and environmental exhibits. Big gift shop. USS Wisconsin is nice and the docents on... More

This museum is a must for families w kids ages 6 and up. There is so much to see 3 to 4 h should be allotted. The exhibit showing submarine life circa 1960’s is riveting and affecting. Then, there is a marine life exhibit w a shark tank and marine wildlife exhibit. There is a v informative/interactive knot tying area... More

Best part was rambling around the Wisconsin, which fired the first rounds of the "Shock and Awe" attack at the beginning of the Gulf War. Don't miss the 7 min movie on the way into the ship.

The Wisconsin battleship is part of this museum, so admission to the museum is admission to the ship and visa versa. Spent most all our time on the ship so we didn't get to see much of the museum, but there was plenty to see. We'd like to come back with our kids.

The Museum has many exhibits beyond the USS Wisconsin. The facility is geared toward ocean going ships, the Navy and other issues in the Tidewater area as a whole. There is a focus on the Navy but the shipping culture of the Norfolk/Hampton Roads areas is at hand. This is a must for visitors to the area.

We enjoy visiting Nauticus. The museum is very well done and gives you a chance to learn much about naval history. What we really enjoy the most is touring the the Ship, the Battleship Wisconsin. It really allows you to take a step back in time and get a feel for life on the ship back when it was in... More
