This museum was really cool and a lot of fun Climbing all over the ships alone was worth the admission price, plus there's lots more to do

We got free reciprocal admission from our American Science Museum membership, but we quickly realized how much of a bargain we got as we were blown away by the excellent quality and QUANTITY of educational opportunities at this gem of a museum! We toured the battleship first because it was due to close first (it was impressive of course, but... More

Saw this as part of the USS Wisconsin. A very nice little museum. Could use some more interactive type exhibits but worth the time.

We got in free with our science museum membership. My husband really loved climbing around on the ship and we could appreciate the people that served aboard this ship. The naval museum was interesting. I really enjoyed looking at the many different naval uniforms throughout history. It was worth a visit.

With an afternoon off while staying at the Marriot for a conference, I walked down and spent a few hours there. I could see it being very enjoyable for young kids but teens may not be too interested in most of the exhibits. If you're in the area, especially on business, it's worth checking out especially the battleship.

March had a 2 for $20 deal for active duty military! See what is was like to be aboard a real war ship! This place has tons of history, tons of fun, and lots to do. We really enjoyed ourselves. I love old recruiter posters, especially ones recruiting women, they had a bunch of these to look at. It is... More

The Nauticus Museum is a great hands on place if your kids are under 10...not so interesting if they are teens. I'd suggest a few hours, though, just to go through the USS Wisconsin. Well staffed with both paid and volunteer staff who can answer anything you might want to know about the ship.

If you are planning a day or weekend trip to Norfolk and enjoy learning some history and more about what makes Norfolk so vitale to the shipping industy I highly suggest a visit to Nauticus. You could breeze through it in an hour or so, but if you do mind reading plan on an afternoon stay.

It is a an interesiting place to visit, in a city that is not very big. But there is not really much to say about it.
