Surely one of the best places to enjoy a classic Italian "aperitivo" if you're young and looking for fun. Of course, don't miss to order some spritz to drink!

Went here with my husband, 13 yr old, 11 yr old and 20 month old. Lovely beach about 15-20 minute walk from the bus station. Lots of parasols and sun beds owned by hotels but once you pass them you end up on a lovely beach. The beach itself is clean with plenty of bins to dispose of rubbish. These... More

The resort is HUGE busy and it is a typical European seaside resort - bar, hotel, tat shop, bar, posh shop, supermarket, hotel.....(you get the idea). Don't be put off, they put on street entertainment every evening in the summer and there is always something going on. The beach is typically Italian - rows and rows of sunbeds. We were... More

Miles long beach of powder soft sand. Beach bars all the way along. Public toilets. Even mobile dress shops actually on the beach for those last minute bikinis! Safe and shallow sea til long way out. Great for children.

We went to this beach while staying at the Milton Hotel. The sunbeds and umbrellas were well marked for the hotel. The beach is well organized and well kept. The sea is shallow so you can go some way in before it gets deep. There was a man with a trolley selling Drinks and Ice Creams Etc.

Well maintained and clean beach with excellent showering and toilet facilities. Gently shelving beach makes it safe for children, plus it is monitored by lifeguards. Small cafes offer the usual refreshments.

this beach is very clean, with lots of sunbeds for your hotel - quiet in May, but still quite busy on a weekend. The workmen were out all day getting it ready for the summer - the sea is very clean and shallow so nice for a paddle (or a swim if you're feeling brave!) Lots of cafes and bars... More

A superb beach miles long and quite wide of clean soft sand, this goes down to the sea which is clean and is shallow for some distance out. The beach is covered in sunbeds from the hotels except for approx 15M at the waters edge. At the end of September the hotels are closing down for the winter so it... More
