in a week of Italy, Rome, florence, milan, cinque terre....this was single handedly the best meal/experience.....it was hard for us to find without a gps but we literally just took signs pointing to Siena until we ran into this place within 30 mins of leaving florence. the wine tour is typical but it's a beautiful 1000 year old estate, and... We arrived without a reservation and after pleading, we were able to be accommodated into an existing tour group. We weren't interested in the combination tour and lunch - just the tour and tasting. Our guide was very informative (and handsome), and being able to join really made our trip. There are breathtaking views of the vineyard and nearby hills... More

Its not just about the wine, but the history of the estate, the location, the welcome, the overall experience. Just a couple of kilometres up a track from the main road, the estate is actually all around you, but the castle only appears as you arrive. Nestled within 500 acres of vine and forestry, the castle, or parts thereof, date... More

Every historic place has a beautiful story to tell. That's what makes it historic. We aren't just talking about the fables or the origins about the destination. What we are talking is you own story. The one that you encounter on your way. The one that stays true to you. We found ours in the green mountains of Chianti. Chianti... More

This was the first vineyard my husband and I stopped at on our tour through Tuscany, and this was definitely the most professional and geared toward tourists. The vineyard was easy to find, though on a steep hill, and the views were spectacular. We chose the "Chianti Tradition" light lunch preceded by a nice tour around the property and cellar.... More

A must visit if you enjoy red wines, in fact my wife is now hooked on Chianti wines. It was a great tour of their process and the lunch was delightful.

Toured the vineyard and learned the history of John Verrazzano and the relationship to the Verrazzano bridge in NYC. Then we had a tasting of the wine paired with excellent foods. Homemade wild sausages, and pastas. Truly a must see in Tuscany.

We were a group of 5 that took a bus from Florence, and then started the walk up towards Castello di Verrazzano. Reviews said it would take about 30 minutes, (likely would have taken about 45), however about 10 minutes in we flagged down the shuttle (which apparently we could have called from the bottom) and they drove us the... Wanted a Chianti experience, and this didn't disappoint. Had the wine and food experience at 12. Amazing tour with Gino who was the most amazing host. Followed by a wine tasting and lunch. Gino stayed with us during lunch and continued to regale us with further tales regarding chianti's history.
