My husband & I, along with our son, had an amazing time here. A couple of our friends told us we HAD TO come here while we were staying in Florence & we are so happy we took the time out to experience what this castle/vineyard & staff has to offer. Our guide was funny, engaging, knowledgeable, super friendly &... More

We had a fantastic time touring and tasting at Verrazzano. The tour was quite informative detailing both the modern wine making process as well as the history of Verrazzano. The tasting afterward featured very nice wines and the overall value of the tour and tasting is outstanding. Wine, olive oil, and balsamic can all be purchased at the castle or... More

The tour is fascinating, the views outstanding and lunch with wine tasting superb! A definite must if in the region. Greve itself is well worth a visit - the most amazing butchers/deli/wine bar - Antica Macelleria Falorrni.

After a very fun, informative, impressive tour of the castle and winery w/Maria; we enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch in the DR overlooking the valley! Yummy vegetables, bread, olive oil and don't forget the vino!

If you are staying in Florence or passing through Tuscany and you have time for one winery experience. Castello Di Verrazzano is only 35 minutes from Florence and well worth the visit. The estate dates back one thousand years to the explorer Verrazzano and is completely steeped in history. The tour is filled with passion and loaded with information, by... More

I love wine, winery tours and great food. That said, you will not find a better place to experience all three. Contact them in advance for reservations as they fill up fast. Great tour, food and wine pairing is perfect! Lunch or dinner a wonderful Italian experience.

The Castello di Verrazzano is steeped in history, enthusiastically presented within the gardens and cellars of this magnificent castello, perched high on a Chianti hill. Our guide was not only enthusiastic, but also knowledgeable and entertaining. The wine tasting which followed the tour, held under a vine covered pergola, enhanced the experience with good wine and olive oil soaked Italian... More

Arrived 15 minutes before the lunch inclusive tour kicked off and were lucky enough to take the last slots. Our guide was fantastic and we loved the Castle and cellar tour. Absolutely fantastic tasting with lunch. Two of us needed gluten free and vegetarian meals and this was easily accommodated. Would definitely recommend (probably best to book in advance).
