While driving through Chianti we stopped by this wonderful castle, we were toured round the estate and were shown the wine cellars and had some wine tasting too. The olive oil, wine and balsamic vinegar are divine! Worth stopping by for some tasting. Ask for Matteo 🙂

Matteo, our guide was great. Gave great background on the castle and the wine. Loved the insight into the Chianti wine. Tasting at the restaurant was great. Sorry we did not stay for dinner.

This was an absolute highlight of our entire trip to Italy. The vineyard is breathtakingly beautiful and was a great experience overall. Gino was a fascinating and engaging tour guide who gave us a great tour that was both informative and a lot of fun. He had obvious real passion for wine, food and the vineyard and it came across... We drove across Chanti to go to a wine tasting at Verrazzano. It is a beautiful property and a great view across the valley. A nice tour of the wine production and storage. The restaurant was a large facility that obviously can handle large tour groups. My wife remarked it would be perfect for a wedding. The meal was very... More

We stayed at the farmhouse for a weekend and felt right at home! Our tour was Saturday given by Simone, who was incredible!!! He was so knowledgable and noticeably cares for the business. The staff was excellent as was the breakfast, wine tasting and the rooms. No complaints whatsoever!!

Very enjoyable tour with very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful buildings and grounds, with interesting history. The home is the birthplace of Giovanni da Verrazzano, who discovered the Verrazano Narrows and after whom the Verrazano Bridge is named.

This is my second time joining the Verrazzano. I had a great experience 10 years ago and decided to go again taking my friend. Again, Gino was the tour guide. 10 years ago, we had a huge group of close to 30 people. This time around, there were just 4 of us. The amazing thing Gino managed to do was... More

I booked a wine tour for my partner's birthday - It was nothing short of AMAZING. Maria was a great host and ensured we were well looked after and catered for. Having a gluten intolerance, the staff were very accommodating and the food and wine was spectacular! They made my partner's birthday a memorable one, going over and beyond to... More

Make no mistake, if you are looking for a beautiful spot in Chianti this is perhaps one of the best - for the views alone. The wine tour is a rambling affair with the affable, clearly passionate Gino who unfortunately fails to give you any sense of how the wines on the property are created. Rather, he waxes on for... The staff at our hotel booked us a wine tasting day out. we stopped here for a few hours for the tour, tasting and lunch. It was literally Awesome! Gillian ran the tour and hosted the tasting over lunch, they poured loads of wine, excellent food and it was great value. The only thing I insist you do if you... More
