We went to the Thursday night Farm Dinner. Wonderful night with a really fun and diverse group. Tour guide was a little under the weather, but very knowledgeable and made the tour of the castello's fine cellars Interesting. The Dinner was delightful and the wine pairings made them, even more fun. A crisp dry Rose started the meal with the... More

Our tour felt like it was a bit rushed. Our guide was very funny and very likeable, but seemed like he was herding us through the castle without really explaining some of things we were seeing. What was in the huge barrels? Were they real bottles of ageing wine or fakes for show complete with man made dust? Seemed like... More

Gino was a great tour guide and the setting and grounds of the castle are fantastic. The lunch and tour were good value, with plentiful food and wine produced on the estate. When they say it's a 30 minute walk up the hill if you're getting the bus they mean it...that's 30 mins at a quick pace. Luckily Gino and... More

We were recommend to visit Castello Di Verrazzano by the lady who owns the villa we stayed in whilst in Tuscany. We were daring and turned up to the winery without having made a booking or reservation fortunately luck was on our side and four guests who booked hadn't showed up for the lunch tour and they were able to... We booked the wine tour with the lunch and all I can say is that it is the best value for a wine tour we have ever taken. The location is amazing, the tour informative and the end where you get to sample the wine and the lunch well that is simply unbelievable for the price. I had read somewhere... More

We were lucky enough to have what was effectively a private tour with Mateo, and it was a fabulous morning. Mateo was incredibly informative, enthusiastic, and engaging. The estate itself is spectacular and the wines, oil & vinegar were delicious. This was worth every cent and then some!

My husband and I did the 3 hour tour, wine tasting and lunch in May and had a great time. The view from the castle is spectacular but it was our guide that made the experience so special. Gino gave us his philosophy on life and shared his zest for life while he taught us about the winery and wine... More

My wife and I booked the tour, wine-tasting and lunch. We were staying in Florence and took the bus to the village of Greti where Verrazzano has a store. We had decided in advance to walk from Greti to the Castello as part of the "price" for the indulgence we were in for. When we arrived at the store, we... More

The castello tour is definitely worth doing. It's fairly good value, the setting is beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable. You also get to try several wines and the amazing balsamic vinegar at the end. Plus, there's no hard sell to buy wines at the end.

We took the tour with several of our friends. Our tour guide was a bit too technical on his wine explanations but he was really passionate and definetly knew his stuff. The best part came at the wine tasting and then with a phenomenal meal. The view from the dining room was very beautiful. Great experience.
