Blue skies, white buildings and beautiful quiet streets mean that it is an absolute pleasure to walk around this serene World Heritage Site. I've read reviews that have said it is a bit of a tourist-trap, and to be fair, we came across quite a few coaches' worth of school kids on the first afternoon we arrived, but once they... More

Alberobello was a very interesting place. I was not aware of the Trulli's until in Italy. The buildings are built from rock, the city centre is mostly all white in color. Alberobello is on the way to Bari and is worth a stop. The homes are simple, yet elegant in design. More

Nice to visit, but not really authentic; every second trulli is a souvenir shop. Already out of season many tourists. More

Alberobello is an old village, a unique place due to his buildings called Trulli. Trulli are usually a round construction with very thick wall, more than 1 meter and a half, with conic roof (see the picture). More

What a lot of jolly trullis! We enjoyed our visit and the trullis were lovely. It did feel a little like once you had seen one trullo you had seen them all! It is definitely worth staying in a trullo though. It is a lovely experience. More

If you are in the neighborhood, do go and see this little town. The small streets with hundreds of trulli are so nice that you should go and visit it for yourself. Touristic? Yes, of course, but certainly worth a visit. Take your time to walk through some of the streets, visit the trulli church and do go into some... More

But dont be put off by the title, YOU MUST GO, they are cute, interesting and lots of them. You will pay a premium to eat or drink there. Spend an hour or two, buy your trinkets and go somewhere else for lunch. Gets very busy at weekends. More

Although we had the misfortune of visiting Alberobello and the Trullis on a 100+ F degree summer day, we nonetheless were captivated by this enchanting village. Nothing can quite prepare you for the sight of these unique architectural wonders when you first spot one as you approach the town. This is absolutely worth a stop to explore the little village...
