The Poseidon Thermal Gardens, unique in the world, are situated on the island of Ischia (in the Gulf of Naples) in the beautiful bay of Citara, and know in ancient roman times for their hot waters. A complex of 20 pools with different temperature from 28 to 40 degrees and filled with hot underground thermal water. The hot springs are of volcanic origin and are particularly indicated for orthopedic ailments and breathing problems. They have also a regenerating effect on the skin against stress and aging. In the medical and beauty Center there is a team of professional that take care of your needs using advance medical and beauty treatments. Poseidon sits in an ecological environment where relax and rest are in synergy with the sea, the sun and the thermal waters. The park is open from Easter to October 31st.

Beautiful gardens and thermal park at Forio Ischia. Located on the Citara beach just outside the town of Forio on the island of Ischia, Poseidon Gardens is a huge thermal park with multiple pools of varying temperatures, exotic gardens, and lovely beach with crystalline emerald waters. Not cheap - about 32 euros/person - but this includes everything; admission to all... More

We traveled to Ischia by boat to spend the day only. We visited the castle and then spent time in Forio (all the way on the other side of the island) and had lunch there. Then we headed off to Poseidon for some relaxation. The Forio taxistand sign said it cost 12E. At Poseidon my husband handed the driver a... More

No trip to Ischia is complete without a day at Poseidon. Ideally, you'll have some veterans with you that can show you around but first timers can figure it out without much problem. Be sure to explore the whole property - some of the views from higher up are spectacular. We did a half day, arriving in the afternoon and... More

The high price is worth considering the cleanness and variety standards (32 euro on July for the full day - to bring towel and compulsory cup and sleepers from home). The place is wonderful: flowers, smelling herbs like lavender and rosemary, and hot swimming pools everywhere. Good food and relatively cheap (expensive for Italians but cheap for northern Europeans) food... More

If you want to spend a day just being cuddled and relaxing, this is the place you are looking for. You pay a daily (or half day) ticket and you can enjoy all the spa you want, there are termal pools, with different water temperatures, many Kneipp paths, and a natural sauna which is very rare. There are many restaurants... More

Wonderful termal park. Everything is organised in a perfect way. It is really huge and many people can bathe at the same time. Enjoyed my staying there. My favourite is Kneipp pool.

This was a very unique and peaceful experience of a spa park! Coming from London, England, I certainly haven't had the pleasure of experiencing anything like this! There were a mixture of hot and cold pools and an Olympic sized pool and a sauna. It was mind blowing! I had a half day for €29 and I think it was... More

This is our kind of place. We took a crowded bus and a taxi to get here, from the port. Try to go in to the nearest port. That was a mistake we made. We arrived later then I hoped and the person at the gate was nice enough to let us know that if we waited a few minutes... More

We visited Poseidon after hiking Mont Epomeo, I thought perhaps 1/2 day would be enough, but it was not. Don't make this mistake, spend the whole day here if possible. This place is very large and has a private beach front, I could have spent two days here just relaxing! Although after 3:00 it is cheaper, it closes at 7pm,... More
