To my amazement I was the only person up there. I really got to take it all in and enjoy the wonderful views which was... More

This is what remains of the temple of Apollo. One of the best sunsets I have ever watched! Be careful when you are walking to get there and there's wind, as you may have a shower!

This was the last place I went on my visit to Naxos. It was quiet the morning I went and the view to Naxos was gorgeous. I understand it is a great place for sunsets!

We visited the Portara structure on our recent trip to Naxos. The huge marble doorway was part of a temple in antiquity. An uphill climb is required to reach the Portara, but the views from that location are breathtaking.
