We went to see the African American art display. I have never been to this museum before. The displays are beautiful and are laid out well. The young lady at the information booth was informative and helpful. We walked through and enjoyed the amazing artwork on a self-guided tour. The place is very small and we were able to go... More

This museum has changing exhibits, a gift shop, and sometimes offers poetry readings and wine in the evenings. Check the schedule.

Although the paintings for the current Environmental exhibit were fantastic, I found the rest of the artwork less than Fine. The Center is free, so it's a nice thing to do when you have an hour to kill. The grounds looked like they had nice running/walking trails that I'd like to explore on a warmer day.

Perhaps our expectations were raised too high by visiting the Mariners' Museum, just next door, but we found this museum disappointing and the art displayed there to be somewhat uninspired. We've enjoyed visits to many small museums and galleries, but here I don't think anyone in our group felt the need to dwell over what seemed like a fairly humdrum... More

I loved the art pieces. The gift shop is items all made by artist. It has an outside area that you can rent for weddings, or a party that area is supper nice. If you like art and you want to see something different it is good. They also have kid art classes. You will have to call to get... More

I got there on the last day, this was a FABULOUS show! Even though they are a small museum, they had lots of wonderful paintings from the Reading Museum's traveling show, "American Impressionism: The Lure of the Artist's Colony." There was plenty to look at, and I was happily immersed for over an hour and a half. Their gift shop... More

We came for the American Impressionist paintings display and were not disappointed. The museum doesn't have a lot of galleries but it is clean, modern and very reasonable in price. There is a museum shop near the front door. Lots of parking space, no restaurant.

We visited this museum to see the American Impressionist exhibit that is currently showing. As luck would have it, we arrived on a "free" weekend, so there was no admission charge! This was our first visit to the Peninsula Fine Arts Center, but it certainly won't be our last. While we were somewhat disappointed in the exhibit, the facility itself... More

I'm a member here, so I'm a little biased. I have also taken watercolor painting classes here, and it is a great art center. You really should visit at least a few times to get the flavor of the place. They also have wonderful classes for children. What a prize for this community!
