There are two sides to this park. The park is at 13560 Jefferson Ave and the campground is at this address, have submitted two corrections to no avail at this point. Anyway, this review is only for the campground. So, to begin they are upgrading their main office which I hope will come with a gate or some show of... More

I have been to the park twice. Once was in the winter before Christmas to see the Christmas display. The other was in the spring when I just went there alone to have some time to myself. It is a beautiful park and has a lake you can walk around.

You forget you're in an urban environment. Great walking trails and plenty of wildlife to see and enjoy.

NNP is place to wander, exercise, and enjoy the sounds of nature. A rustic place surrounded by tall trees, swamps, and trails. A nice place to get your mind off of the stressors of life.

Huge park, wonderfull place for family fun. The Virginia Fall Classic car show is held here in October and is my favorite car show in the Mid-Atlantic region (proceeds go to a Childrens Hospital). Frisbee golf, boating, pavilions for families, huge playgrounds.

We went camping for two nights. Very large campground and lots of space between sites. Very wooded and rustic. We camped in D loop which has power (30 amp) and water. The bathhouses are a little dated but were clean and everything worked. The park is great! We originally planned to visit Williamsburg but ended up exploring the park instead!... More

If you're a camping newcomer looking for an excellent "starter" campground or a pro camper just looking for a weekend getaway that doesn't require you to drive for hours, then this is your park. There is PLENTIFUL wood lying about to make camp fires with (though it does get used up by campers the closer you get to fall) and... More

we visited this park for its bike trail which we found out was only 5 miles with a completely gravel surface. Flat though and not at all challenging for an experienced cyclist. Very wooded and shaded. Good walking trail.

There are paved trails and wooded trails for running or walking. Picnic tables with shelters and multiple play grounds for kids. Water for fishing and paddle boating. Frisbee Golf coarse. Regular Golf coarse and wild life all around. It's just beautiful.
