This was my second experience with a two week French Language Program at Coeur de France and I was enrolled in an intermediate level II program. I also attended in 2013. My experience with the program and my professor, Marianne Da Cruz exceeded my expectations. Marianne is extremely organized and focuses her teaching like a laser. She clearly explained everything... I spent a week at Coeur de France in early December and had an excellent experience. My teacher was Laurie and I hope to go back and learn with her again in 2015. She was extremely capable and took notice of my mistakes and spent time to help me correct them. We had a lot of fun over the course... More

If you are not the stereotypical student of the French language then I suggest that this is not the school for you. Despite having a week of one to one lessons, and several times voicing my concerns regarding the dissatisfaction that I had with the course that had been decided for me by my teacher during the first ten minutes... Bonjour. I'm surprised to learn that you were not satisfied with your 1 week private One to One tutorial course. It is unfortunate that this was not made known to me or my wife while you were here. I reviewed your mid-week course feedback which you completed on Wednesday to let us know how things are going and if you... More

I went to Coeur de France for four weeks with few expectations about how a criminally mono-linguist 55-year-old with a tin ear could learn such a delicious language...Marianne has the patience of a saint and is a truly gifted language teacher; gently guiding me through the treacherous terrain that is language immersion learning...The school deserves all the rave reviews it... My husband and I were back at Coeur de France the first two weeks of November (having been there in the summer of 2013 with our daughter) and, again, had an absolutely first-rate experience. We were back in the two-bedroom Louis apartment on the top floor of the school (perfect in every way); walking in on the first afternoon felt... More

I was able to spend the last two weeks of October this year in Sancerre, France attending the Ecole Coeur de France language school. This for me was so much more than a language school. I was in Europe on my own for the first time. I have been to France 6 previous times but always with family. Traveling alone... More

My wife and I have just completed two weeks of study at Coeur de France Ecole de Langues. This was our second time at the school in two years, and we just love it. I'm 73 years old and grew up in eastern North Carolina where we speak English with a distinctive southern drawl. This makes the learning of foreign... More

I joined the course at Coeur de France Ecole de Langues as part of an outplacement but, with the absolute belief that, at 50, I was incapable of learning a 2nd language. With the fabulous efforts of the school and in particular my teachers Beth and Laurie, I left after two weeks knowing that with a lot more time and... More

Attended a one week immersion course at the CdF and would recommend to anyone looking to improve their French, esp speaking and listening skills. Programme is nicely designed such that one can have sufficient class hours for academic improvement, while having enough extra curriculum activities to apply your language skills in real world situations. Plus the on site accommodation was... More

Although I was only able to spend one week at CDF and was suffering with a miserable cold the whole time, it was a wonderful experience from our arrival at the school where we met my classmates and most of the staff over a glass of wine to and the fresh flowers on the dining room table of our spacious...
