We enjoyed ourselves sort of, but it may just be an expensive pool... As you can read in the various reviews, people like the place OR they hate it. And it all has to do with the requirement of not wearing bathing suits in the spa part. Please realise that most saunas (in Europe?) do not permit bathing suits to... More

We had one free 4-hour admitance included in the Salzburger Land Card that we had purchased for that vacation. We have visited quite late in the evening (last 4 hours) and more and more people were leaving for dinner what made our stay more quiet and relaxing. We haven't used the sauna. The pools were great, nice views to the... More

Our second day in Bad Gastein was spent at the Felsen Therme. It was a wonderful to soak and relax our sore muscles. Note that a large part is naked, and it is not an option, there are many signs explaining this. For those prudes out there this may not be the place for you, however if you're open minded... More

I spent a few relaxing hours each day for a week in the Therme. The facilities are varied and clean. Even when it was quite busy there were quiet places to be found. First rate public pools/spa with an outstanding setting and views.

One of the reasons that we chose to travel to Bad Gastein was the mix of skiing and spas on offer to cater for the less ski-enthused people of our group. Sadly, we all experienced things at Felsen Therme which will haunt us until the end of our days. The staff were more than keen to take your money without... More

We chose to stay at Bad Gastein from Australia as it was promoted as a spa town along with skiing. The skiing was great however our trip to Felsen Therme really soured the town for us. We paid early in the day for a day pass as we thought we could transit from skiing to the spa throughout the day.... More

We have been to Felsen Therme 3times and we always find it relaxing and good value for money. There are several pools with different jets, inside as well as outside. The warm uranium rich water helps your muscles and joints relax to such an extent that after 3 hours you feel regenerated. The price for 3 hrs is 20.50euros, which I... More

We had been greatly anticipating this spa and had traveled from Budapest to experience it. Maybe the spas in Budapest are "that" amazing, but this place was really bad. The hot pools were not hot and the cold pools were not cold. If you wanted to take a sauna or steam, you were required to go naked and not let... More

We have been just once in this spa, having quite a good time. Although it is the oldest of the two Gasteinertal spas, the place is really nice, clean and well organised. In my opinion, the Felsen Therme's covered swimming pools are better than those you can find in Alpen Therme in Bad Hofgastein; so, if the weather is bad,... More

As has been previously noted, the reception staff here were extremely friendly and very helpful. Neither my partner nor I are particularly "spa" people but the informality of the place linked to an large variety of pools, both internal and external, allowed us to spend a delightful few hours resting and relaxing. The cleanliness is outstanding and our two friends... More
