Owner description: Nicaragua Adventures offers private, custom and unique tours, exclusively designed to satisfy our guest's many requests and expectations (we do not form groups!). Operating since 1999 and based in Granada, Nicaragua, we offer sightseeing, soft and more strenuous adventures, for couples, families and small-mid size groups. We offer the highlights, but also always try to include a few original activities/visits on the way, to make our itineraries more valuable and maximize time during your vacation. We also are one of the very few agencies with a license/permit to operate (Delivered by the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute INTUR, you may require it when booking with tour provider in Nicaragua). We own a fleet of vehicles (all a/c, recent and comfortable, well maintained to accommodate all group sizes from 1 person to groups, with well trained, professional and friendly drivers), allowing more flexibility and satisfaction for oour customers. Our company is recommended by New York Times, Outside Magazine, Washington Post and several other magazines, please check about us. In addition, Nicaragua Adventure's manager (Pierre, a native from France living in Nicaragua/Costa Rica since year 1996) has been awarded as the "Top Travel Specialist" for Nicaragua by Conde Nast Traveler, three years in a row since 2011. Contact us for a unique travel experience.

We just returned from our amazing 7 day trip with Nicaragua Adventures! This was our first time of ever using a tour company and our first time to Nicaragua. They run this company like a well oiled machine. That is the best I can describe it. From Katia that helped me for months on all the trips and paper work,... More

Nicaragua adventures day tours was a great idea for the 30 short hours we spent there coming over from Costa Rica. The guides are very well educated about their countries history and overall information of almost anything in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is a must see and is rich with breathtaking lagoons, peaks, volcanos, and islands. Also markets there are super cheap... More

My husband and I returned one week ago today from a 9 day trip around Nicaragua and we can't wait to go back. We are sitting here looking at pictures of our trip and thinking about next year's trip. My husband is from Nicaragua and this was my first time visiting, so we had to balance our time between family... More

I was one of the senior ladies who visited Granada for an overnight tour - it was totally delightful: we were met at the Costa Rican border by our guide and driver and taken to many historical and geographical landmarks. One of the highlights of our tour was an hour and a half cruise on Lake Nicaragua - where we... More

We were four senior ladies looking for a tour from Costa Rica. I contacted Nica Adventures and asked for a suitable overnight tour, to be picked up and returned to the Costa Rican border at Penas Blancas. We had a wonderful experience visiting Nicaragua. Gustavo and Roberto were at the border when we arrived. We were delighted to be picked... More

We just returned from a very rewarding 10-day tour we planned through Nicaragua Adventures. Osnar Gomez was very responsive and worked overtime to make the adjustments to the custom itinerary that we requested. Their drivers and guides were some of the best we have ever used in Latin America (see my profile); they were all friendly, courteous, punctual, and the... More

Katia and her staff did an amazing job making sure we had a trip of a lifetime with a minimal budget. Sandboarding, kayaking, hiking, volcano tours, cloud forests, beaches, and biking were just some of the activities that were included in the package! Drivers and guides were very professional and accommodating. Hotels they booked for us were beautiful and the... More

Our trip thru Nicaragua was amazing. We spent time in Leon, Padre Ramos, San Juan del Sur, Estili, Granada and the Corn Islands. The food was incredible, the people very, very friendly and the landscape took our breath away. I am a 60+ year woman and traveled alone on some parts of the trip -- and I always felt safe.... More

Our experience with Nica-Adventures, was outstanding. We arranged a customized itinerary from the USA, on the internet, working with Osnar Gomez. He was very responsive and responded within almost minutes to our many questions. Our trip was very well organized, guides and drivers were always prompt and met us as scheduled. Our guide Roberto Darcy had excellent English and provides... More

My husband, myself and another couple traveled to Nicaragua in Nov. for 9 days. We travel together often and plan our own itinerary (on the fly). For a change of pace, we decided to try an organized trip. It was a very relaxed, well thought out tour of several areas including Ometepe, San Juan del Sur, Leon, and Granada. Our... More
