This is one of the first places we visited in Granada based on recommendation from several locals. The view gave a great overall impression of the city (and nearby volcanoes) and the photos we took were great. Definitely worth a visit.

Could probably use some restoring, but at the same time the look adds to its ambiance. Do climb the winding stairway to the top of tower for magnificent views of the city and horizon.

Has some great photos of this old church. My wife and I walked by it most every day for a week and we took some nice snapshots. Really nice..

It's a beautiful old church with lots of character and charm. It might need some renovation but that adds to the charm. If the sky is bright with blueness and puffy clouds, don't hesitate to take a few good outstanding photos.

On the main street you can visit the old church. Wonderful and a fantastic atmosphere. The lake actually started here 200 years ago.

Visited all the churches in Granada. It is a town with a lot of history and very nice people. The ride in the carriages was fun.

In its day it probably was very attractive but now decay has set in and it doesn't look that brilliant. Described by our tour leader as the unpainted church and that we shouldn't go past there after dark. An unkempt church on the outskirts of a bit of a downtrodden area. Not such a great tourist attraction. Such a shame... More

A beautiful church just a few blocks away from the main plaza, it looks like it needs renovating but its simple charm is in the fact that it hasn't been restored. A well populated church with local parishoners in and out throughout the day. Go up to the belltower on the spiral staircase (not for the feint hearted or large... More

Almost at the end of the Calzada, you will find the old wonderful church. The facade has not been made and it is what makes it very authinic.

Masses here are filled with the faithful. The young priest is a very articulate and persuasive preacher, exquisite in his liturgical style, attended to by a small platoon of altar servers, and accompanied by clouds of incense smoke. The church itself is on the small size but well-appointed and with a gorgeous image of the Virgin of Guadalupe over the... More
