First, it's a historical church with a beautiful interior. Great for photos. If it's a clear day, spend one dollar and climb the unusual steps to the top. There you'll get great shots of all four corners of the city. Remember, Granada has a "housing code," no buildings are taller than two floors. You'll enjoy the view from what appears... More

The interior is so lovely. There is a lot to see so you need to spend some time there. It is an easy walk from central Granada and one of the things that should not be missed

Passed this old church on every walk between my hostel, Casa del Poeta, and the Plaza Calzada. A beautiful old architectural relic with lots of history. It is definitely worth visiting.

The Guadalupe Church is situated halfway between Grandada Central Park and Lake Nicaragua on Calle Calzada. It is very attractive building that was once the fort to the entry to the city and has been involved in major battles over the control of Nicaragua including an American "opportunist" who actually proclaimed him self President of Nicaragua, William Walker. Very worth... More

The cathedral is worth a visit for a photo of the outside but there is nothing remarkable about its interior.

I mostly enjoyed going to the top (which cost only $1). Best view you can get for a dollar. I totally recommend you check this church out.

Lovely, old outside facade. Worth making a quick stop to take pictures. The inside has a nice altar and a few paintings.

We paid $1/ 25cordobas to go to the top. The views are great from all sides. Well worth going up for a look.

Located at the end of tourist central, the church is close to the bay. (Be weary of some of the locals with your personal belongings.) It is looks a bit on the tumble side from the outside but the space within is calming and pleasant. The architecture is more impressive than the interior.
