While in Rishikesh, you can go to the Triveni Ghat... In the Morning - For a Holy Dip In the Evening - For the Daily Aarti (Prayers) Or any other time - just to soak in the tranquility and the surrounding beauty.

Its the evening Aarti organised by Parmarth Niketan which is the foremost experience I plan my visit to Rishikesh for, every time. The Group of children singing in harmony, melodious bhajans, the environment, all makes one experience the divinness of the Great Ganga. One must attend when visiting Rishikesh.

There is much better aarti than that at Haridwar. lMuch less crowded and better cleanliness. Feel the calm sitting at the banks of ganga seeing her flow.

riveni Ghat is a nice place to take a stroll in the evening and witness its famous ganga aarti. Though not very clean and with lots of beggars around yet it is a pleasant experience especially the river front and 6 km long marine drive walkway. Prachin Shani dev temple and the main market near the triveni ghat are worth... More

The Triveni Ghat at Rishikesh is a place where one sees nature meeting the spriituality, the temples are attractive and beautiful. However, the maintenance and upkeep of the place requires little more attention.
