Other side of River Ganga (Left Bank). Can be reached here by four wheeler via Chilla Barrage. Or by walking over Ram Jhula or by steamer across (every TEN minutes) the banks. Gita Bhawan , Parmarth Niketan , Vanprastha Ashram many other other ashrams are there.

Loved the trees, shrubs and peace gardens. Liked the fact there was a path close by where you could trek to Neelkanth Temple - wish I had more time to be able to do this. Did not dislike anything in the Ashram - everyone we spoke to was so helpful!

I have stayed here through meditation courses with crowds of friends and on solo personal trips. The energy emerging from this old place is calming and peaceful, INSPIRation, words go when the mind calms, eh? Ann G.
