We visited Natural Bridge in the summer. It is a very nice place, well organized. There are lots of things to see there. First , you can take a short bus ride down to the bottom of the bridge, then walk along the nature trail. The walk is pretty easy, no uphill. At night, it has a light show, very... more

We stayed at the onsite hotel, and loved every minute of it. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. And it really didn't matter, since all we did was sleep there. The hotel lobby and restaurant are beautifully decorated with Early American antiques. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet included with the room charge. All hotel staff are... more

Natural Bridge is a wonderful sight and certainly something you should see if you are anytwhere in the area. That said, it is not worth a long trip for just this one attraction. The wax museum and zoo are added just to bring people in for a longer period of time, but the only real attraction is the bridge. It... more

We had been "Years" ago with our children, but didn't remember a lot, so it was fun to visit again. The bridge itself is neat to see, but if you only visit the bridge, it will be a short visit. Make sure you take the trail to the small waterfall, it's by no means a spectacular fall, but it's a... more

We went to the Natural Bridge and Caverns this past weekend and we caught the trees in different states of changing. The walk was long but if you have a day of leisure it was an easy walk and very beautiful. The Indian village is an ongoing project that changes per season and the preparations of the people who run... more

Just got back from a beautiful day at Natural Bridge. Steps to bridge, easily doable. The bridge itself is majestic, awe inspiring. Take time to listen to the interpreter at the Monacan Indian Village (past the bridge). He had very informative short history lesson. Nice little hike. Took the shuttle back up to gift shop. Wax museum was much better... more

Free shuttle is available if you want to avoid the stairs. Well maintained. We saw blue herrons, snakes, fish. There is an Indian village staffed by actors. (Not much, but at least it is included with the price of admission.) Cafe on route has acceptable munchies. Enormous gift shop. more

The purpose of our trip was to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains and other nature sites in the vicinity. We stopped at the Natural Bridge and were very disappointed. We pulled into a parking lot where you have to go through a gigantic gift shop where you can buy Confederate hats, fake guns for your children and millions of other... more

We were very disappointed. The price of admission to the Cave & Natural Bridge was $26 per person. The "bridge", while very interesting and just a neat natural wonder, was exactly as it appeared on the internet, but...literally...that's all there is. The cave, which cost extra to see, was sadly pitiful. We've explored many caves all over the country and... more
