Similar to many zoos, but there are animals visitors can feed. The animals are well cared for and the cages are decent sized, unlike what some others say. The tigers are on loan from a well reputed tiger breeding facility that would not put their animals at risk if there were any issues with this place. The price is fair... More

This zoo is great and the staff are very friendly and take the time to talk to you about the animals and the care that the animals receive. The gentleman that was at the Cat area took lots of time talking to us and our 4 year old daughter. The zoo has made some great improvements. Check out the parakeets... More

Even though some of the animals were entertaining, it was a very depressing place to visit. The enclosures were poorly kept and very small. The Elephant ride was a joke, $6 for a walk in a small circle that lasted like 2 minutes. They give you the option to buy food to feed the animals, but don't tell you that... More

My family of 5 lives about an hour and half away. This was an awesome for my 10, 4, & 2 year-old, as well as my husband & myself. There are coupons at the rest stop on interstate. Prices are $12.00 – Adults $ 10.00 – Senior Citizens (65 & older) $ 8.00 – Children 3-12 FREE - Age 2... More

I am glad I went to this zoo before reading the reviews. We went for the opportunity to spend 30 min (family of 4) with the tiger cubs. This was limited time opportunity as the cubs born end of May 2014 and will soon be too old to have one on one time with them. However, the gentleman who stays... More

This zoo is very up close and personal, but it saddened me because the cages are soooooo small! My 3 year old loved it. You can feed half the animals. The animals are all ao close to you. We even got to feed the giraffe. We had a good time. I just wish the cages were bigger and better suited... More

There has been many right ups of the treatment of the animals here. Behind closed doors they are one of the worst zoos out there. There isn't a review low enough for them. I have been offered free ticket after free ticket and I refuse to take it. I believe they need to have a closer investigation and have them... More

It's not much of a zoo but as for small town attractions, this wasn't a bad way to spend a couple of hours. We got to ride an elephant and feed the farm animals-- what more could you ask for?

We stopped here on the way home from Mill Mountain Zoo ( which was awesome btw) and I was embarrassed to be there. It really looks like a random backyard zoo. The pens and enclosures are small and often devoid of grass or shade. Giraffes and zebras had no grass at all just dirt. The bear didn't even have dirt,... More

The main reason for visiting this zoo was the promise of an elephant ride. I have always loved elephants and the 2 1/2 hr drive to the zoo seemed worth it for my husband, my 9 year old son and myself. Reviews of the zoo had me doubtful of the rest of the zoo. Good thing we came anyway! The... More
