Last week, my family and I went to the Safari Drive~Thru Zoo about 2 or so miles down the road from this particular zoo. We loved it so much we went again yesterday. Afterwards we decided to go to this zoo, The Natural Bridge Zoo. Absolutely no comparison. The Natural Bridge Zoo was like a make~shift habitat for these animals,... More

The was a little above average for a zoo. My family and I have visited many zoo's as my children and I are animal lovers. The staff was friendly and the animals all appeared to be healthy and happy. I had a chance to chat with a few of the Zookeepers who were very open for questions. I do recommend... More

I went here with a group of friends our children under the age of 6 and had a blast. You can ride and elephant, which the kids thought was awesome. They have a bag of foood you can buy to feed the other animals such as giraffes, camels, donkies, etc. They even have where you can feed and take pictures... More

I loved the zoo! You got to pet and feed multiple animals...it was awesome. There were a few babies born, we got to see, which were so cute! Baby tigers will be born next month, and they even let you take pictures with them, with you feeding and holding... It's not that expensive, and you can spend all day. I... More

If you are a animal lover and at the Natural Bridge you just as well take in the zoo as well, especially if you have kids. They had baby tigers which were cute and you could hold one and have your picture made at certain times. Elephant rides for the kids. Gift shop and snacks. Reasonable price.

I must admit, that I'd never choose to visit this zoo, had it not been for my child. So from a kid perspective, it is worth the visit. The elephant ride is a small circle and so nice for the kids to get that ride. Compared to the Washington DC Zoo, this is a "open" space - so a different... More

A small zoo, more of a sanctuary. Yes, some reviews mention dirtiness, but this is more of a small, independent zoo. Got to speak to some of the keepers who care for the babies in their homes-there is a great deal of caring that goes on. Not a zoo like we all know it, but some well cared for animals.... More

This zoo appears to be located on a former ranch/farm. It is the worst zoo I have ever been to of the 20 or more I have visited around the US. I say this b/c of the lack of greenery and shade and the small enclosures. I am surprised no one has mentioned the giraffes. There were five in an... More

On our road trip home to PA, we were heading to the Natural Bridge and Stumbled upon this place. parking was difficult to find and we ended up parking on a grassy strip off the highway. We were just in time for an elephant ride $5.00/ person with a min of two riders. There is an option to purchase a... More

We recently went to Virginia to see caverns and the natural bridge. It was a beautiful trip until we went to this zoo. It was the ugliest part of the whole trip. I started taking pictures but I couldn't take any more because it was heart breaking. The enclosures for a lot of the animals were wayyy too small and... More
