Delicious wine in a beautiful setting. Knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed a tasting of their regular wines and reserves. Definitely planning a trip back for some more of one of their reserve wines!! The wine was a good bit more expensive than I usually like to spend but so worth the money.

Stopped in oh a whim during a couples getaway weekend. We did the wine tasting inside and made fast friends with our server (pourer?). Highly recommend shelling out the extra $4 for the Reserve tasting. During the summer months, they carry both red and white wine slushies; if available, it's a must-try. Buy a bottle of wine along with a... More

We've been to several vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley for wine tastings when we stay at Massanutten Resort, and Cave Ridge is one of the best and friendliest. The wine selection was excellent, the fruit and cheese plate we sampled was outstanding (including stuffed dates, four kinds of cheeses, apples, grapes, bread and spreads which were really yummy), and the... When we arrived for wine tastings it was a bit crowded but the wait wasn't long. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all the customers. Tasting area is a little tight. Wine selection was ok. Outside area is very nice.

This winery is out of the way and not easy to find (make sure you use GPS). But the trip is worth it. Nice patio area to enjoy a picnic with a nice bottle of wine. The tasting room is nice and the staff very friendly. Several very high quality wines - if you like red don't miss "Red Silk".

We stopped in after visiting nearly all the other wineries in the Shenandoah Wine Trail and we were very happy to have come here! The staff was VERY knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating! As we were doing our tasting, they made great suggestions and gave good examples. They grow many of their own grapes to make most all their wines.... More

Cave Ridge Vineyard offers a tasting room as well as outdoor facilities if you would like to bring a picnic. They have a variety of sweet and dry wines and do charge a tasting fee. This is a great place to spend a pleasant afternoon in the spring or fall.

For the wine lovers in Virginia, and elsewhere, you must visit Cave Ridge Vineyards. Wine maker and owner, Randy Phillips is brilliant in that he has the property that grows great grapes and has the talent to transform the juice into great wines. Regardless of appreciation of red or whites, you will find at least several wines that are very... More

Going in with no expectations, I loved Cave Ridge! Upon entering the tasting room, we were welcomed by several very pleasant employees. The wine was good and the views were nice, but would have been better during a different season. Overall, I had a good experience. Not amazing, but worthy of a recommendation.

Cave Ridge has some really good wines. The 2014 Red Silk was awesome. The Riesling was not too sweet, went down easily. Looking forward to going back in warmer weather.
