This visit to Rt. 11 Potato Chip factory was so much fun for every one in our family. Not only did we get to taste some yummy chips, we also had a chance to check out the production line. Of course we stocked up on chips, T-shirts and even earings made out of recycled chip bags. So neat. A fun... More

Great friendly staff make this a great stop off between Monticello and Gettysburg route. The tour is more of several viewing windows with a personal staff explanation but the samples and warehouse packs made us convert from the large chip companies. We left with seven pounds of chips to tide us over till we get back.

Have you seen how potato chips are made? I had an inkling how but this place showed our family exactly how, and how flavors are added. Wonderful samples!

We went to this business because my uncle helped build it, but once we got there and went in they were busy making potato chips! How awesome was it to see the process. It doesn't take long to check things out, but the chips are delicious! Purchased 6 bags just to bring home.

You can "tour" the factory in 3 minutes (you basically look through the windows and you can see the entire line from potatoes to bags of chips). Great for the kids. Fresh samples of all their flavors! Buy in bulk at a great price, lots of cool t-shirts, etc. Definitely worth the stop!

It's hard to find, even though it's right next to I-81. Go to the website and follow the directions. You'll keep thinking you missed it and then all of a sudden, there it is. Even then, it just looks like an industrial building, but do go inside. The Route 11 employees love making potato chips and they love to welcome... More

Only stop if you want to buy some excellent potato chips. Factory isn't far off the highway but is a little tricky to find. Tour is two or three big windows where the person behind the desk will tell you how potato chips are made but I think most are very familiar with the process. They put six or seven... More

Stopping in lets you see how potato chips are made with a free sample of freshly made potato chips still warm from cooking. Bought almost all of the flavors that they make and loved them all.

We stopped by with a group of MINI Coopers, pretty much unannounced. We had 60 people and they had no issue what so ever about doing a tour. We had a lovely young lady tell us about the chips. Being a potato chips fanatic, I was excited to stop by. Let me just say I have a new favorite potato... More
