We went out there for a wine tasting as we were in the area staying at Massanutten. The winery is just beautiful but unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't take the tour. There is a large and beautiful outside area for seating with a lovely outdoor fireplace. Kimberly did our tasting and was very nice and knowledgeable. The wines... More

We attended a family wedding at Crosskeys Vineyards 8/16/2014. The handling of the wedding and the venue were awesome. the food was excellent and the service was excellent. I was most impressed with the management and leadership as the reception progressed. the wine provided was very nice . i would reccommend this venue for anyone planning a major event.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and decided to visit the winery despite the cloudy weather. From the tastings to the tour, our visit was exceptional to say the least. The bar was full upon arrival which is expected on a Saturday, however, we were immediately greeted and set up at a table to perform out... More

We attended this Vineyard as a Groupon and I didn't have any high expectations. However, after attending it I changed my mind. The location is great the facility is less than 10 years with beautiful layout. Did the tour, tasting and lunch was great too. The only bad part was all the flies outside.

We visited the winery to taste and learn more about the vineyard and their wine. The tasting was either $5 or $7 depending on which wines you chose. The tasting bar was fairly full, despite this there were a lot of staff behind the bar doing little or nothing, except watching your reaction and waiting for you to purchase. The... More

Ellyn was the perfect hostess! She made us feel at home at our arrival! Her tour was fun informative and interesting. She was very knowledgable about the wines and they were delicious! We made several purchases. Definately will spread the word about Cross Keys and their fine hospitality! I will be a repeat visitor!!! Thanks Ellyn!

My partner and I organize a Wine Group for our organization Prime Timers of Central Virginia and while researching we happened to come upon this beautiful vineyard near Harrisonburg. Our group of 14 went on a Saturday July 19. The vineyard is close to I-81, with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The building and the surrounding vineyards have... More

Though a beautiful location, we did not have a very pleasant experience when we visited this vineyard. The attitude of the staff did not make us feel welcome at all, and the "tastings" were merely a sip of different wines. As for the crackers to cleanse one's palate, they were nothing but crumbs at best. We did purchase a couple... More

We visited crosskeys today for lunch. It was very disappointing. The water tasted and smelled like sulfur and our waitress said it was because of country well water. When we asked if they had bottled water which is listed on their menu, they told us they had none. There were so many flies in the shaded part of the patio... More

Thank you so much for visiting CrossKeys and for your input. We are so sorry about your experience! We are on well water and it sometimes has a sulfur smell to it, but it is completely safe to drink. We get it tested regularly by the VA Department of Health: Office of Drinking Water. We apologize because we do have... More

As a resident of the Shenandoah Valley for 13 years, I like to tour wineries from time to time in this beautiful state. However, my recent visit to Cross Keys Vineyard was discriminatory based on income. As soon as me and my boyfriend drove up to the complex in our '98 Toyota Corolla, we were greeted by signs saying "No... More

Meghan, thank you so much for your feedback. While we understand your complaint, unlike most vineyards, we have a full-service restaurant. The pricing of all the menu items is comparable to other local restaurants and vineyards in the area. Our goal at CrossKeys Vineyards is to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of income. We hope you can give... More
