This award-winning museum brings thought-provoking work from international, national and regional artists to its galleries in regularly changing exhibitions. Piedmont Arts also offers performing arts-from concerts to plays to children's performances-and a full schedule of art classes for all ages. While visiting the museum, parents and children can visit the Discovery Room, a mini art studio where budding artists can create and display their work. In the museum's Studio 107 Gallery, guests can find unique gifts, like handmade jewelry, artwork and more, created by local artists. Proceeds for Studio 107 Gallery sales go directly to support the local artists who created the work. Admission to the Piedmont Arts galleries is always free of charge.

Piedmont Arts is a special place in our small city located in a historic home in downtown Martinsville. Exhibits are varied - some fun, some sophisticated and are always well-planned and thoughtfully displayed. Many other activities are sponsored as well - speakers, classes, trips, performing arts and more.

We are so happy that you enjoyed "The Art of the Quilt." It is one of our most popular exhibits. Please visit the museum again in the winter of 2014, when this beautiful exhibit returns to the galleries. More
