My entire family rented the family lodge cabin (there were 15 of us and 3 dogs). The lodge was large enough for all of us and then some. We had a wonderful time and did not get bored at all. The park and lake are beautiful. My husband and I have since moved near enough to HM to visit often... More

Our family has camped here several times. If you tent camp the sights here are excellent. They're built up on wood decks to keep the sight from washing in a heavy rain. The sights have fire rings and firewood available. There's a gorgeous lake for swimming & kayaks are available for rent or bring your own. Beautiful hiking trails &... More

While this campground is in a beautiful area, the cost of $42 per night without full hook-ups and wifi, was too expensive. In fact, it was the highest cost of lodging for our travels across the states.

Nice small park..57 spaces..with back-ins and pull thrus. Reasonable priced and easily accessed park. Lots are nicely spaced, level, some paved and some gravel...easy to park..each provided with fire rings and tables. Very good bathrooms, sewer (unusual for state parks), WiFi, but no cable. Plenty of nice areas for pet walking. We would return here. We camped in a 5th... More

This park has great hiking trails. The staff at the park are helpfull. Swimming during the summer is refreshing. There are cabins and camping spots. A great place to run on the trails.
