Visited this state park for an outside wedding. The park has several trails to hike. It also has a very nice beach area with food nearby for purchasing. If you want to bring a picnic this is also possible. Saw many families grilling out and enjoying the day. There are many hotels in the area that allows you to stay... More

Decent park with a good set of trails for a good nature walk, nothing overly challenging. Pavilions for picnics and canoe, paddle boat, and paddle board rentals from the dock. Decent fishing but don't bring a boat unless its a small boat that uses an electric motor. There is a campground adjacent to it that stays pretty full during its... More

One of the best state parks we've visited. We camped for a week at the end of August. Camp Burson is wonderful. The trails are awesome and the lake is a kayakers paradise. Nice area with plenty of day trips.

We spent time on the beach and in the Discovery center. The ranger programs were appropriate for all ages. We would recommend this to anyone looking to get... More

I rented a cabin for our family of 4 and our 2 dogs. The cabin was even air-conditioned!! Beautiful fireplace, nice kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove, and oven. The cabin had 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and a nice family area. The rockers on the front porch were an unexpected surprise too. We enjoyed a strenuous hike to Molly's Knob and saw... More
