This winery reminded me of being in Napa Valley. It has a beautiful setting and wonderful seating arrangements including inside, a patio, and picnic grounds. The food is terrific! The customer service could not have been better. (Not quite CA wine, however the whole experience was worth going for the ambiance, aesthetics, and service. Heather, the manager, is terrific!

This is a beautiful place for major life event. It's a huge place. One of the most fascinating things about this Winery is that they represent and offer multiple wines from different Virginia vineyards. They've got the wine tasting down to a mechanized system that actually takes away from the experience a true wine buff usually looks for - having... More

This is a must go-to vineyard. The location, atmosphere and variety of wines served make this special. They promote local vineyards as well as their own. The food is also incredible - and local. Just go! You won't regret it.

I've visited this winery several times since it changed hands, and the experience has been more than good each time. Beautiful setting, great seating both indoors and out, entertainment, good food and fine wine. A visit here is different from other wineries in the area. If you want to taste, there are 4 different flights of 4 wines each, from... More

We visited this location recently with a neighborhood group for a tour of the facilities, a presentation by the wine maker and a leisurely lunch. The facility was stunning in its exterior appearance in a Tuscan-style. The winter season was just ending with snow still on the ground but the grounds were immaculate and the harbingers of spring were in... More

I had to visit this winery after seeing it on line and it didn't disappoint. On a cold winter Friday my husband and I went while we were visiting the region from Staunton. We got a fabulous seat by the peek through fire, with gorgeous views through the numerous and large surrounding windows. The interior design and the materials choices... More

We had been here before, and decided to come back for a visit. It was good enough that we decided to stop in for lunch on both days of our recent visit. The open ceiling in their great room/tasting area gives a very spacious feel. They have floor to ceiling windows in the back which affords a beautiful scenic view.... More

Someone beat me to the title undewhelmed, oh well. This was our last stop on our wine outing and we were excited as this was the only one that was open till 8 on a Friday. I was excited as l heard who the owners were but this is probably the reason it seems to be run like a corporation... More

We've visited a good number of wineries in Virginia and were excited to visit Early Mountain as admirers of the Cases. However we were sorely disappointed in our visit. The property is beautiful but prices and service have much to be desired. Tastings and food were overpriced compared with other wineries in the area. It was very crowded the afternoon... More

My wife and came across this winery on a drive from our B&B. It is a stunning building with wines to match. They have plenty of seating inside and out. We didn't try any of the food but it smelled incredible. The wines were very good with the whites edging the reds on flavor.
