We were lucky enough to stop by on saturday before they closed for a wedding. The winery is absolutely beautiful! Heather helped us with our tasting and she was just wonderful. We would definitely be back if we are in the area again!

We had an interesting, sumptuious time at this vineyard in January 16. The tour was exciting, the wine tasting super interesting and delicious, and the venue for a catered dinner at the Vineyard was superb. Great place to book for a wine-tasting, wedding, or other special event for a group.

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful luncheon at the Early Mountain Vineyard in Madison, Virginia. Gazing out on serene mountain views, we were served a yummy ham and cheese panini, a bountiful salad and delicious French onion soup loaded with cheese. The food was served hot and very quickly! Our waitress, from Ireland, spoke with a delightful brogue and... More

This is a must destination for wine-lovers. Not only do they feature their own, but they also showcase other VA wineries. This helps the entire industry. Their food is remarkably good, and reasonably priced. Service is excellent. Setting in the VA countryside is wonderful. This is a large winery so it can accommodate groups and events.

We stopped here on the way back from staying at Cedar Spring Inn and Spa (fabulous place). We heard the background and figured we would stop in. A beautiful structure inside and out. The wines, however, were not my favorite. We sampled 2 different flights (cool & crisp and fall into red) as we took in the beautiful scenery. We... More

Spent the weekend near by and came with a few other couples as 1 of 4 stops in the area. I thought this vineyard was beautiful. The wines were great, and the staff was very knowledgeable. The space was inviting and cozy. They had live music and fires burning out back. The fireplace inside was beautiful as well. The event... More

When visiting a vineyard in Europe, you rarely find a restaurant. Often, you find quirky owners with a lot of pride in their wine and some recommendations of where to go for local food. The American Way seems to be different. If I were tp put my cynical hat on, I'd say that this is an eating place aimed at... More

They have their own wine, which is just average, and quite a bit overpriced. Cheaper than the wine that's brought in from other vineyards, with a small food selection.

Attended this location for a wedding. The facilities are beautifully situated in the Virginia country side, offering a great venue for events in the midst of beautiful scenery. The staff was among the most professional of any that I have ever experienced. On time, all the time, always smiling and anticipating our needs. The dining area is very characteristic of... More
