Go! Tom was wonderful and taught me how to pronounce Viognier properly. The wines were all amazing... We will be back and will bring friends.

This is a beautiful tasting room, it was super rainy and so while the grounds looked to be lovely we stayed inside. You cross over a little bubbling stream on the way in, large tasting bar with lots of cozy seating throughout. Eclectic pourers - we got lots of history for the area and info on the vintner (who we... More

The scenery is just awesome. Some wines are good / bad but it was a awesome time no matter what. Their is room for kids to play outside and their is also some tables inside. They have many events check them out.

DuCard is set way off the beaten path but it is certainly worth the search. The vineyard is beautiful. The tasting room was quaint and intimate the wine is amazing! If you're doing the wine tour make sure you add this stop!

This winery has a big outside patio perfect for a sunny day to stop and have some wine. We did the tasting which was $8 per person. We didn't purchase any wine from here but enjoyed a few of the reds. Our wine guy was super nice and very knowledgeable.

We always like to stop in while in the area... they're changing their tasting offerings and releases seasonally, making it worth our while to stop when we can. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Prices are nice and red wines are great. The view from their patio is gorgeous and they also have other areas inside and out to... More

This was our first time visiting DuCard Vineyard and to say we were very pleased is an understatement. The location, the wines and the staff were more than wonderful. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and so peaceful out on the patio area. They offer a good choice of food to add to your glass or... More

Drove out to DuCard Vineyard on a beautiful summer's day. It is a beautiful drive, though a little long from Charlottesville (about 1 hour), though it is well worth it. The winery facilities are very nice and the views from their patio of the mountains are beautiful. The staff was very knowledgeable in presenting some very good wines. Bring a... More

My wife and I have been visiting many of the wineries throughout northern VA over the past few years. At first, they were ' pretty good for VA wine'... Lately (2015) they are all improving. That said, DuCard is in a different league than the majority of VA wines. If you like a full bodied Red (like a CA Zinfandel)... More

DuCard is the best winery I have ever been to! There is not one wine here that I dislike. In fact, DuCard is where I learned to like red wines. My two favorite wines are the Cab Franc (very smokey and spicy) and the 2nd Corps White (semi-dry and delicious). The new addition to the existing tasting room/patio is also... More
