My husband and I visited Chatham Vineyards last year and had a most amazing time and so we were really excited about our return visit. It was a glorious Fall afternoon and we were looking forward to sitting outside with a glass of wine and then bringing some bottles home with us. Unfortunately this time was so very different. We... My wife and I enjoy wine tastings and visit vineyards a few times a year. While Chatham's tasting room is not as pretty as others we have visited, we were able to interact with the owners and experienced a friendly employee introducing the wine. While the wine was enjoyable, the graciousness of the people made the trip special. The fact... More

My girlfriend and I stopped here during our trip to the Eastern Shore, and it was definitely worth it. When we arrived, the tasting room was bustling with people tasting wines and those preparing to do the winery's combo kayaking and wine trip along the river. We each liked every wine we tried, and that's not typical. It's not that... More

March is definitely offseason to enjoy the scenery but we enjoyed a very relaxing tasting. We learned alot about their wines and bought several bottles to take home with us. Their wines are now bottled under the Church Creek label and are served in many of the local restaurants. Worth a stop!

While visiting the Eastern Shore, we saw an advertisement for this vineyard. I am so glad that we went. It is down a long driveway on what appears to be an old plantation. Once you get closer to the winery, you can see the vineyard. Driving up the driveway was nice and peaceful. Once at the winery, a cute little... More

Hop off of Highway 13 in Machipongo and follow the "winery" signs to Chatham Vineyards for a tasting, and you won't be sorry. Bordeaux-like grape growing conditions and the expertise of the winemaker combine to bring some really tasting wines! Enjoy a complimentary tasting with one of the knowledgeable pourers, then buy a bottle or two and a cheese plate... More

We visited during Thanksgiving weekend when many of the wineries on the Eastern Shore are open. They had 6 samples to try and we purchased a few bottles. Very friendly staff. Seating outside with firepit very nice

We found this neat little winery and vineyard out in the countryside of the Eastern Shore. The wines were very good and our hostess most accommodating. After tasting she fixed us a cheese and cracker plate and we enjoyed with a bottle of wine outside. Life is good!!
