It was such a great experience. I loved the mixture of local history and basic exhibits. My kids loved the different exhibits but the Motion one was their favorite. They loved playing with the golf balls. They also loved that my wife and I could do everything with them, including climbing around the tubes. They also do not charge for... More

Took my nephew here a few months ago and he loved it. It is a fun place near the river with lots for kids to do.

This museum was built for children of all ages. Read the history of the building on their website, it's so neat! The light up staircase is so fun and the rooms are so creative! Hours and hours of hands-on exploring. Worth the price!

great hands on learning and play for the younger set. A real gem in the downtown area. Always a good place to go, and their special programs are usually a jewel

Amazement Square lives up to its name; it's truly amazing! I took some children I was nannying for there, and they had the best time! You can spend several hours moving from floor to floor, learning both science and history in a hands-on way! You can dress up, put on a puppet show, or paint all over glass walls! You... More

We made a point to visit this place during our road trip. We are always looking for entertainment for our two year old... What a surprise this place was! 4+ floors of learning, activities and FUN for all ages. A farm, painting walls, puppet show area, giant blocks, bugs, etc. Not to mention, I did not have to say "Don't... More

They have something of interest for most pre-teen kids here, from a giant 4-story climbing tower with ladders, tunnels, slides, and a zip line, to areas specifically for the under-4 crowd. Everything is hands-on and makes kids think while they explore and learn and have a great time. My daughters have been coming here for years and still love to... More

A wonderfully fun site for older preschoolers and young school-agers, as well as for other ages that are feeling adventurous. Highly interactive and built for exploring. Dress to climb the climbing tower--the biggest indoor such tower in the nation, to paint in the plexiglass painting room, and to play in water on an elaborate canal system water table. The Depot... Took our toddlers and they had a good time. I think a lot of it is for a little bit older kids but they enjoyed the farm area on the first floor, the bugs, the paint box, sliding with mom and dad and the elevator. :) Good place for families.
