I visited Amazement Square with my youngest child and a small group of children from our church. The children enjoyed all of the activities that this place has to offer. The place is very clean which I really appreciated. Children can climb through tunnels and go from floor to floor exploring. There was a section where children could float boats... More

My husband is the director of a children's museum, so while we were in Lynchburg we paid a visit. It is very small, but it does have some unusual play areas for the children. They seemed to be very happy with The museum in the process of updating and expanding in the near future

This is a good place for families. It's not too bad in price and it's plenty of fun for all ages. They have different classes at certain times, so when we went we got to make airplanes and decorate them. The kids really loved them. The zip line was probably their favorite part. There is enough here to tire a... More

Great for kids and grandparents on a rainy or winter day. The 5-8 year old kids will be thrilled by the interactive displays. Location is downtown near the James River with a number of good restaurants nearby as well as a biking trail. Make a day of it with the kids!

We bought a pass for our daughter last Christmas and have been visiting ever since! We love their weekly story times for toddlers. Our son is now able to crawl and enjoys the SHipwreck Cove area for little guys only! The staff has always been extremely friendly and courteous with both me and my children. Definitely worth the price of... More

The really good place to take your kids but it gets real pricey if you take more than one. the family is like cars or we have 3 children we end up paying $45 because they charge everyone. The only downer is the past couple times we've gone some of the exhibits have been closed. I feel if I'm going... More

Far and away the best children's museum we have been to. Lots of hands on activities for kids here. We had our ten month old grandson and our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter with us and there was plenty to do for both of them. There are 2 toddler/baby areas, a farm and a shipwreck room which was their favorite!... More
