Amazement Square has always been a fun experience for all of our grandchildren, two of which live in Lynchburg. However, it is always on the "to do" list when our other grandchildren come to visit. The most attractive features for our children are the golf ball roller tracks and the simulated river float, but there are, literally, hundreds of things... More

Nine dollars for hours of entertainment and the best way to teach the laws of physics and the history of our area. Come on Thursdays and the price of entrance is only $5. I brought two of my students and they played and played and never realized this was EDUCATIONAL!! What more can you ask than that?

This is a pretty nifty place for families to visit. It's an interactive museum and I would recommend for kids 2 to 12. Slides and tubes connect the floors, so be sure to wear your tennis shoes and comfortable clothes. There are rooms where kids can paint on the walls, act, sing, and even send golfballs off ramps. A miniature... More

I have a very shy 7-year old grandson. We drove from Richmond because we heard this was so good. I did not have to pose him with a smile once! He radiated smiles. He especially enjoyed the teepee, zip line, bateau, and generally climbing like chutes and ladders between the floors. His mothe and I were exhausted after an hour,... More

We went yesterday after looking up family friendly ideas for Lynchburg. Thursdays through the end of this month (Aug 2015) are just $5 per person. After looking it up on line, and trying to judge by the size of the building, we didn't figure on needing more than a couple hours. However, our boys (36 months and 8 yrs) *really... More

Very unique and nice for children of all ages. Did not think there were enough signs and info to tell you what floors, etc. were best for their age.

Great place to go on a rainy day, lots of things to do for kids of all ages, 3 or 4 floors of fun. My son loves the jungle gym area.
