Not in VA Wine Map...and for good reason

We came here after someone from another winery recommended it. The tasting room is on the smaller side, but it is in a rustic house with a good view of the surrounding area. This... read more

Wow. Wow. Wow. This is the best vineyard to visit in Virginia bar none. We spend a lovely relaxing Saturday at Linden and enjoyed a vineyard tour led by the owner. We then enjoyed a wonderful tasting, followed by enjoying a bottle of wine on a beautiful deck. Top notch. A must visit!

One of the most remarkable wineries in Northern Virginia. Secluded, romantic and visually stunning. The tasting room is both grand and intimate. The first winery my husband and I have visited where each wine scored well-above expectations. This vineyard is all about the wine, no tacky, kitschy gift shop or faux European ambience. At Linden, it's all about the wine... More

This is one of our very favorites places for several reasons. First, it's only about an hour from DC (although 66, as always, can be a headache). Second, very friendly and personable staff. Third, no as "touristy" as so many of the others - no limos, no huge parties of people, etc. Fourth, if you a member of their case... More

it was great, gorgeous property, delicious wines. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We didn't have time to sit on the patio and order food with our wine but next time we will because I will be back!

We've been visiting wineries in VA (and a couple other states) for a few years now, it's really become a hobby of ours, since we're very interested in wine. We've held off on coming here, until we tried many others to have something to compare to. While visiting many of the other wineries that we found to be really nice,... More

We came here after someone from another winery recommended it. The tasting room is on the smaller side, but it is in a rustic house with a good view of the surrounding area. This is a nice place to hangout if you have an hour or so to drink some good wine. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wines... More

Jim Law is serious about wine. Period. If you are, too, this is a winery you should not miss. If you are not a club member and want to hang out for a bit after your tasting, it is best to go on a weekday when you will be able to sit on the deck (which is small and reserved... More

Superb high end wines in a scenic remote setting. Not easy to get to but well worth it. The winery and tasting room have a very California vibe and look. The vintner is acknowledged to be a guru among local wine makers. Only complaint I would have is that they don't include any of their really good vintage wines in... More

We visited here from DC on a weekend away. Getting there was an adventure down a small country road. It was chilly, foggy and a bit rainy the day we visited. Seeming off-the-beaten-track, we were surprised when we arrived and there were a number of cars in the lot. However, once inside, they do a very good job of spacing... More
